my skin is fairly dry and i have recently bought a clinique super moisture foundation and a mary kay one. they are ok, but nothing to shout about. i want one that makes my skin look dewy and perfect! i know it is alot to ask but want opinions on other ones.

I like Lancôme for foundations. But it's so dependent on your skin type.

is the boots intelligent one really good? i really liked the look of that when it came out, but was wary of the colours.

ysl - it has a built in brush and the same light reflecting stuff as the touche eclate. i have dry skin and it works really well, makes you glow (in a good way not an illuminous one )

Estee Lauder was mentioned a few times early on, so I went along to their counter - the lady did me a full makeoever, and made me look fab, so i paid a small fortune for some things and already my skin looks zillions better. i got the doublewear foundation, and it is v good. Today when I was out shopping I actually didn't reel back in horror when I glimpsed my face in a mirror - I thought - wow, I look like I have good skin!
So thank you for your help

Chanel in the winter and Laura Mercier tinted moisteriser in the summer

I wasn't keen on the vitalumiere stuff tbh. It made me go a funny colour (despite wearing the correct shade according to the orange Chanel 'consultant'). My face looked a bit clammy with it too. Nice.

I have the Dior one atm, it is good. Diorskin Pure Light.

Pollyanna · 25/11/2007 18:20

I didn't like the chanel vitelumiere as it made my skin look really shiny, but the chanel mat lumiere is really nice.

I also like the liy lolo and laura mercier tinted moisturiser. chantecaille future skin is ok too.
