I’ve had a bit of a revamp in style, I wish I were 20 years younger! I like this. I’m only 5ft5 so wouldn’t be as short on me and I’m a size 6-8
I’m also 37.

God. I wish I were 20 years younger. I squandered my youth wearing really plain and boring stuff - floral quite often. I hit 35 and had some sort of midlife crisis. It’s no longer floral thank god but because I’m old I’m having to be restrained. My clothes are boring.

I'm going to clip you on the ear for referring to your 37 year old self as 'old'.

Buy the dress and minx about in it at home and see if you love it. Life is too short to deny yourself clothes you love. And congrats on freeing yourself from your floral print prison.

I like the style of it, maybe a different material but agree that this should be quite a flattering dress for a shorter, slim lady. I’d wear it and I’m 42!! Not into fuddy duddy clothes and this definitely doesn’t fall into that category!

Go for it OP. Im 44 and like you I've had a total rethink about my personal style and I've started rethinking my clothes.

Personally, I don't like the frilly bits at all.

Seperately, I know several people who could wear that at the same age and look shit hot. It would suit them and their general look (a bit alternative). I think order and try it. You can always laugh and send it back!

I think order it I think if it was plain it could look stunning I too am slightly uncertain on the frilly bits.

As an oldie of 51 I think mid-30s is the perfect age for this sort of thing. A lot of people seem to think it's horrible though, so how about one of these instead?
