If you had £200-250 to spend on a bag what would you get?

I've never had a 'good' bag, I've never spent more than £60 and that was on CK years ago.
I would like to buy one but probably not til Christmas. I prefer crossbody but it needs to be a decent size.
Is it doable in this budget?

This is my sort of style, I'm a bit scruffy so wouldn't want anything too structured.

Look at Coach. They have decent sized cross body bags. Sales are good - you might get one at 50% off

I like Coach - the leather is thick and good quality and the ones I have have lasted for years.

I just bought a new one at an outlet that was in your price range and there was plenty of choice of cross body styles.

It's this one but they don't have the green on the website. I bought it in Portugal but I think there's an outlet in the UK too.

Have a look at Meg and Bee online. I've recently bought a lovely cross body, good sized bag from them. The leather is good quality and they had a range of colours.

I like Osprey.

Kate Spade bags are really nice too, I've got several. Gone off Radley as they don't seem to last terribly well.

I'd go either aspinal or coach in the sale.
You may also be able to pick up a decent Sophie hulme on yoox or similar. Their leather quality is fan-tastic

I like the Italian brand Furla, and also the Spanish one, Lupo. Their leather is gorgeous.,
TK Maxx currently gave an Aspinal grey croc tote bag for 180 quid, a couple of Smythsons for around 250 and two Coach bags, both the same but one pink, the other beige, for 180.

I'd go for one of the Osprey hobo bags. Great colours and styles and massively on sale at the moment.

Osprey bags last much longer than Radley and many have funky linings.
