Parlux 🤦‍♀️

Hettylala · 18/05/2021 18:49

Following. I'm in the market for a new one too. I've been looking at this Cloud Nine one https://www.cloudninehair.com/products/the-airshot?variant=33214182064216

I have this and love it

SpeckledyHen · 18/05/2021 19:04

Parlux .

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 18/05/2021 19:05

I have always had Parlux, but now have the ghd helios and it is excellent.

DD has the air shot and wasn't overly impressed with it. Her previous one was a cheap treseme dryer from a gift set so she had expected more from the cloud nine.

Parlux. I have the Dyson one and it's crap in comparison

Is it less damaging than a dyson as the dyson doesn't seem to damage my hair as much as a normal hairdryer. I got the dyson because my hair was so bleach damaged.
isthismylifenow · 18/05/2021 19:28

I recently bought a Toni and Guy and I am very impressed.

thecapitalsunited · 18/05/2021 19:30

I have a Parlux and so does my hairdresser.

Glassesareneeded · 18/05/2021 19:34

Just got a parlux, it's brilliant! Lightweight, dries long thick hair quickly and leaves fragile thinning hair shiny too. Pleased with it so far.

NeverTrustaRabbit · 18/05/2021 19:46

The Gama iQ Perfetto. Recommended by my hairdresser - it's not cheap, but it is fantastic and worth every penny!

I bought a Parlix 3200 compact after seeing hairdressers using the brand. Its by far the best dryer I've had.

TinyGlassOwl · 18/05/2021 20:32

Parlux. Best ever.

Theredjellybean · 18/05/2021 20:36

I'd save up for a Dyson... I literally would save mine first is the house was on fire.

SwimmingOnEggshells · 18/05/2021 20:52

I have a dyson and I've previously had a Parlux. They're the biz.

As an alternative try this Veloce one. Very high wattage, I had it before and it was great. I got it in a trade salon supplies shop.

oxalisRed · 18/05/2021 21:04

I bought my Parlux about 10 years ago for about £60 - which was a lot of money to me then. But it's been worth every penny and I've been really happy with it.

Can't imagine paying hundreds for a hairdryer.

itsme7 · 18/05/2021 21:25

Parlux user here too. Always recommended by myfriends who are hairdresser too.

mumoftoddler · 18/05/2021 22:22

I've had my Parlux 3200 ceramic ionic for 11 years now and it's still going strong

SweatyBetty20 · 18/05/2021 22:24

Parkin all the way. That and my Hair2000 which is at work are the only hairdryers which don’t overheat when I blow my mad curly hair straight. My Hair2000 is 12 years old!

Snally82 · 18/05/2021 22:25

The Dysons takes so much longer to dry my hair than my GHD. So disappointing

Normandy144 · 18/05/2021 22:27

I really like the cloud nine air shot. It replaced my old salon Toni and guy one which I had for years. I find the air shot is very simple but I'm powerful and I get a very sleek finish (I have fine hair in a bob style).

SweatyBetty20 · 18/05/2021 22:28

Parkin?! Well I love a bit of Parkin but I don’t think it would blow dry my hair very well. I obviously meant Parlux.

Sparkesy · 18/05/2021 22:35

Parlux here too - dries my thick shoulder length hair really quickly and keeps it shiny. Well worth the money, It is 8 years old and still going strong. I will definitely buy another if it ever goes wrong
