What would you wear

My partner booked a theatre trip and weekend in London pre Covid and hopefully this august we can go we have booked an expensive restaurant on the Friday with a smart dress code then on the Saturday we have a pre theatre meal booked at an average restaurant and theatre after. I’m at a loss of what to wear I’m 27 size 10-12 if that helps

Red dress looks best.

Agree with all the comments, but you’ll have a brilliant time so I think dress up as much as you want!

I do like to dress up for an occasion - I love the red dress - great for the dinner , I do like the black one but would think boots not right for august and agree with others suggestions re footwear - looking forward to see skirt

I don't think the clothes on that website are on trend, as in a cool fashion-y style, because they are very bodycon/sexy, but if that is the style you like then you probably don't want a Ganni style midi dress.

If I had legs like the OP’s and I was in my 20’s I’d choose her outfits. I’m in my 50’s now and in the midi dress gang.

Yes, bodycon is the word I was clumsily groping for. I don't see even young women wearing that trend these days?. I somehow missed seeing the first dress though, and I like that the best.

Absolutely! I only know about it from the graduates at my work (finance) they’re all fully kitted out in Ganni and Zimmerman for a night out and think I’m positively ancient at 34 because I still wear Whistles.

That's the thing. I think for the evening and for OP's age this dress is completely suitable. She looks banging in it! She will definitely turn head and for the right reasons. No one will laugh and stare because they deem her unfashionable and out of date.

Girrrrrrrl if I had legs like that I'd go out in my knickers, frankly.
