Lose the expensive lotions! It's all about rosehip oil....

Ok, so I'm writing this as I just feel ALL women should know about it.

So I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts (it's taken me 34 years to realise face masks and scrubs are not my friend). I am also starting to get some lovely little wrinkles appearing :(

I tried rosehip oil on a whim last year having seen a luxury version online being hailed a miracle cure. I wasn't sure about putting oil on my face - again - prone to spots! It seems to go against all logic. But I used it anyway and found my skin started to actually glow. My wrinkles seemed less deep and I just looked less tired in general. Also.... no spots!

After 2 bottles (it goes a long way - literally 2ish drops for my entire face) I kinda just forgot to get any more and even when I remembered I didn't bother as it seemed like an expensive luxury.

Fast forward 6 months, my skin was back to looking tired and old (as I frequently complained to my partner) but I hadn't made the connection at all.

Then I found a bottle by accident in Wilko - £4.50. Definitely worth a shot so I got it. 1 week in and I'm not joking there's a real glow and I swear my skin feels softer, smoother and clearer.

I'll NEVER go back now. Genuine skin miracle. Anyone else tried it?

Thank you for the tip - I shall try it!

I use it after derma rolling. Not keen on it’s smell, but it’s good after rolling.

I've been using it for a couple of years now. My skin can't tolerate retinols or acids but seems to love rosehip oil. I have a bit of acne scarring and sometimes what I think is mild rosacea, rosehip oil really calms it takes the redness down. I rate the Sukin one. Didn't think the ordinary was so good, but I do like their B oil. I wouldn't be without rosehip oil now.

I use revolution reship oil with retinol - about a fiver and great. prefer it to the kheils I think.

I've used it for years after reading somewhere that it was good. I was blown away when I noticed it had actually made a scar disappear. I have very sensitive skin and I bloody love it, I agree the cheap stuff is just as good, as long as its pure rosehip it's fine. My dd10 also uses it on her eczema prone skin. Wonderful stuff!

I've been using oils instead of cream moisturiser for a few years now - highly recommend. Rose hip is great. I also like almond, marula, and argan for hair.

I recently bought the trilogy one as it was dramatically reduced in price. I have to say I also love it, and I was highly skeptical. I think it gives a general healthy glow and my skin feels and looks good when I wake up. I’m quite an oily person so I was apprehensive but so far so good. I think I read that it has small amounts of vitamin a in it so it’s like a mild retinol.

I bought the Sukin organic one on Saturday after reading this thread. My skin also can't tolerate a lot of things, and I've only used it every second night thus far, to ease my skin into it, and will up it to every night after a couple more applications. So far so good.
