I had always thought of H&M as relatively sane, dull even, but ...
totally nuts shoes

I mean, you couldn't wear them outside if there was even a hint of rain. You'd have to get someone to give you a piggyback from the car to the party.

LuckyMcDucky · 10/05/2021 19:49

Ghastly

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 10/05/2021 19:53

It's not even that they are ugly (although they aren't attractive) it's more that they expect someone to pay £149 for shoes that are likely to be unusable after just one wear.

A 'bonkers shoes' party? A 'I can make your dog attack my feet' party?

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 10/05/2021 19:59

Rubbing chicken fat on some old shoes would be a much more cost-effective of making my dog attack your feet. Grin

I'd wear them inside to dust my skirting boards 😂

DIshedUp · 10/05/2021 20:17

Oh wow. They are quite something.

AOwlAOwlAOwl · 10/05/2021 20:26

You'd leave a trail of red fluff everywhere you went wearing those Grin

Redannie118 · 10/05/2021 20:31

My Jack Russell terrier would lovvvvvve these !!!

humansare · 10/05/2021 20:54

149 euros.

The first day you wear them you will step in dog shit. A very large, sloppy, green-tinged shite. You will be forced to blast them with a garden hose and then comb out the dry poo with a very fine comb and you will never be able to wear them again, concerned that a gust of wind will summon up odorous memories of 'dog shit day'.

Annettebee · 10/05/2021 20:59

On a first date. I'll be seated when he arrives and he won't clock them until we're leaving

I can't even fathom how anyone passed those into commercial production. That person needs to be fired ASAP ShockShockShock

ChubbyMsSunshine · 10/05/2021 21:16

A spring clean party, so you can do the dusting?! Hideous.

AlmostSummer21 · 10/05/2021 21:16

Christmas Day

chipsandgin · 10/05/2021 21:19

I imagine you’d wear them to a fancy dress party if you’d chosen to go as ‘Big Bird’ from 70’s tv show ‘Sesame Street’.

That’s quite a niche choice though?

Longdistance · 10/05/2021 21:21

I saw them a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t brave enough to post on MN Grin

bunburyscucumbersandwich · 10/05/2021 21:25

Are they slippers or real shoes?

Cleverpolly3 · 10/05/2021 21:28

Spray some Flash on and clean the floors

BINGO!

notthemum · 10/05/2021 21:31

Jesus, never. I must admit though when I saw them i honestly thought that they were those dusting ones. (Didn't think to look at price cos I thought they'd be about a fiver). Wasn't til I read that someone said they were 149. Quid that I took another look. Then I just thought WHY and nope.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 10/05/2021 21:46

I hadn’t looked at the price properly, as someone upthread pointed out they are €149. In Sterling they are £139 - a bargain. 😁

They are ridiculous but they are FABULOUS!

In a world of trainers, be more Iris Apfel.

pheasantsinlove · 10/05/2021 21:56

First reaction OMG WTF... now after the initial shock... I think I want them!! BlushGrin

wotchhha · 10/05/2021 22:10

H&M has always had wacky bits in their flagships/online.

These are interesting...
