Anyone tried Stitch Fix?

I'm 5 months post c-section after DC2 and needing some new clothes ideally with some styling help!
Have come across Stitch Fix and wondering if anyone has used them?
What did you think of the clothes they sent you according to your stated preferences and sizes?
Really curious to hear your thoughts before I go ahead and try it!
Thanks 😊

I use them once every three months and aside from a couple of boxes have had a few gems I'd never have picked. They refund the styling fee off whatever you keep and I hate going shopping and picking stuff myself so for me it works. Yes I've had awful stuff (clown sized joggers that came up over my boobs which the stylist said "looked long and might swamp you" but I asked for a new stylist and got a few things I've worn and work. The Mauvette high waist super soft jeans are lovely on me. I also have codes if you want one

hopeishere · 28/03/2021 22:09

Mine is due to arrive Saturday so will report in if people are interested!?

IllNeverLetGoJack · 28/03/2021 22:11

I definitely want to hear reports please! Particularly from the not so slim and extremely fussy amongst us, (as that is me Grin).

FourTurnings · 30/03/2021 19:22

I would be interested to hear!

I'm a 18 bottom and 16 top!
TheChineseChicken · 30/03/2021 21:11

If you’re going to do it, please use my code so we both get £15 off www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/nbqpzxy2bx?sod=m&som=c&g=w

IllNeverLetGoJack · 30/03/2021 21:18

@hopeishere, we are very similar sizes! Hope it works out for you (and selfishly as it then may work well for me too Grin)

pitterpatterrain · 30/03/2021 21:21

I have used it to gap fill basics in the main. I am rubbish at getting jeans, plain tops, etc. I have had a few other items here and there that are nice, only 1-2 boxes where I sent it all back

raffegiraffe · 31/03/2021 23:17

I got mine and kept all 5 things.i was doing lookieroo but didn't like most things as they seemed cheap and not stylish enough/ weird rivets and glittery bits.
From stichfix I got a lovely spring dress great fit. Green jumper with a sort of open back, a black t shirt with slightly puff sleeves, a good quality ribbed fitted best in a lovely blue and some mauvette skinny jeans which I'm sure are now out of fashion but the fit was so great.
I've got a code if you want to use.
I'm just going to get now and then but as I said earlier I've found it loads better stuff than lookieroo

So I've got a navy mint velvet shirt, trousers, a spotty top, a red top and a dress. The dress is horrible. Really cheap looking. I've not tried anything on but am optimistic about the top and trousers. Apart from the MV top all the rest seemed to be own brand.

sesquipedalia · 03/04/2021 14:24

I've got a grey sweatshirt, black spotty blouse, black ruched top, jeggings and a blue dress. No braces I've heard of. All feel v cheap and nine of them suit me. First go total fail. Might have another try but I do feel that the stuff in the ads is miles nicer! I felt like I'd been styled by Primark

sesquipedalia · 03/04/2021 14:24

Brands not braces!
None not nine!

Illneverletgojack · 03/04/2021 14:31

Thanks for reporting back! Good to have live updates. Don't think I'll bother.

MummingAlong · 04/04/2021 00:12

I genuinely love it - such a nice thing to look forward to receiving in the post. I’ve got several new items that I wouldn’t have considered at all but once tried on with the outfits suggested I’ve been converted!
Highly recommend it, feel free to use my £15 off referral:

SilkyMoonfaceandTheSaucepanMan · 04/04/2021 00:24

I use both Stitch Fix and Lookiero.

I see you've had a few referrals for Stitch Fix already, so just thought I'd add my Lookiero one in case you or anyone else is interested Smile

Lookiero

I’ve had a box and kept a skirt and a
Top. I hate shopping but love clothes so it’s win win for me. I like that I can try the clothes on and use my accessories and see what other outfits I can put together.

RosyPrimroseDoll · 04/04/2021 05:49

Love stitch fix! I had a few boxes earlier on that weren't really a hit- but with clear feedback and a new stylist I've not looked back really. I especially like the stuff they send that I would never been brave enough to pick up in a shop or buy online! Returning items you don't like is super easy too
I've also got a link if anyone wants £15 off their first order- win-win for me Smile

happytoday73 · 04/04/2021 12:59

OP I got my first box Saturday. I got some nice smart trousers that will be sending back as my belly is too big. A lovely skinny rib in my colour, a wrap over top thats smart and a bit different colour wise. A thin jumper that's my colour, nice, decent shape but not sure I love it enough to keep. A sleeveless top that's nice but I have one similar.
Overall they listened to what I asked for, the shapes are right as is the colour and lack of patterns.

I'm a tall top heavy size 16 who is fussy and doesn't like or suit current style trend.
Feel free to use this for a discount...

Hi everyone, goodness me this thread has taken off! I hadn't realised....just about surviving at the moment with baby, toddler and husband working in the NHS 🧟‍♀️
Thank you all so much for your advice and for sharing your experiences.
I haven't placed an order yet due to an unexpected bill arriving 🙄 but I'm definitely going to give it a chance in the next couple of months.
Anything has got to be better than the black leggings and t-shirt combo that I seem to have been 'rocking' for the last 6 months!

Thank you all for the discount links too Thanks

I've also kept the trousers - probably more because they fit than I love them.

My next one isn't until July.

drspouse · 05/04/2021 12:06

I'm going to get one soon. I'm not sure what to do about the "is this your style" as many of them are except for the shoes!

GuessHowMuchI · 07/04/2021 19:49

I tried this recently post baby, and the first box wasn't good. I'd specifically asked for Spring colours and they sent me navy, olive green x2, black and royal blue! I'm hoping they will build on my feedback and I'm going to try giving it a go for another month.

My husband was interested and decided to sign up too! I reckon it's so much easier for men's fashion. He ticked the box saying he wants to be "adventurous" though GrinConfused saying that if he wanted a plain polo shirt he could just buy that himself.! So I'm fascinated to see what on earth turns up!! GrinGrin

twolipstulip · 15/04/2021 17:52

Woo hoo! Big thanks to whoever "Helen" is who used my link to get us both £15 credit!!! If anyone else wants to use my discount link here it is!
