As my manager would say, it's a Big Ask

Does such a dress exist?

I'm a bit porky (well, more than just a bit) and I have 2 parties to go to in the next few weeks (MN one and posh work xams do)

I need to have my arms covered. They are like badly stuffed chipolatas

Bump for you in search of holy grail !

My arms are not my best feature, must admit I tend to buy a dress that shows off the norks (so generally v neck bit slinky no sleeves) and then go for a shrug or funky cardigan (I currently sport a mid length sleeved version..

The bishop sleeved/bell shaped ones are quite groovy

IntergalacticWalrus · 08/11/2007 08:10

I don;t mind a bit of cleavge, but I do have to be careful because I have large norks and enbd up looking a bit wenchy

Can't seem to add the link - but check out the Wallis web site - mid length dresses - many in black and many with sleeves

IntergalacticWalrus · 08/11/2007 11:05

Yes, boyught green dress before I went away.

I have to be careful with it, because it blows in the air and shows my pants.

I got a John Lewis (own brand) one a couple of weeks ago, can't find it on the website though. It was 40 pounds. Knee length, 3/4 sleeves with little frill, v-neck, looked very boring on the hanger but great on. If you're interested I can have a look for a style name when ds wakes up from nap in our bedroom.

yeahinaminute · 08/11/2007 11:31

Very Marilyn !!

Either Ok for me - as long as M is home on that weekend from his Hibernian jaunts - and I have finished enough work on the Thurs to allow me to go out !!

alarkaspree · 08/11/2007 11:33

Sorry, wasn't looking properly. It wasthis one

yeahinaminute · 08/11/2007 11:46

That's nice - Oi Walrus have a peek - just the right length for you too

IntergalacticWalrus · 08/11/2007 11:53

Mmm, that's quite ni9ce actially.

Got interruped by dozy bint doing a survey asking me daft questioina about mu buiness, like "is your turnover more than a million pounds a year" and "how many empliyees do you have" and "Do you use company cars" NO I AM A FARKING CELLO TEACHER
