Opinion on these dresses for a wedding please

I said before my usual style is maxi dress/skirt clumpy boots or flatform sandals so if i got one i think it would be clumpy flatform sandals
I am not young. Over 50

Absolutely love both but for a wedding I would go for the 2nd one.

Not RTFT, assuming that you are a guest not the bride, the second one, but I'm not keen on it. The first one is much nicer but is more evening wear, and you might be cold.

At the risk of sounding ageist, the first one shows quite a lot of skin, and would suit someone with slim well toned arms.
