I am really bad - I get all that stuff for free, and I never use it. (laziness the reason).

kindersurprise · 03/11/2007 13:24

I found that the cheapy tescos own moisturiser and wipes are the best for my skin. Almost everything else gives me spots.

I even tried a really expensive Shihido (or whatever the name is) moisturiser once. After a week my best friend asked me if I was due my period.

Do not use eyecream as I have sensitive eyes. No scrub, very occasionally mask.

The only one I could not live without is my Jill Sander tinted moisturiser. When I started using it I got loads of compliments as it gives a healthy tanned look.

ellehcim · 03/11/2007 13:26

Use face wipes rather than cleanser (hence my eve lom/liz earle post earlier today)

Boots protect and perfect - it works!

face mask very very rarely although thinking of microdermabrasion having read an article by a skin specialist saying that after you hit 30 you should have it twice a year.

Palmers cocoa butter for body - love smelling of white chocolate.

bobbiewickham · 03/11/2007 14:31

YonKa cleanser
YonKa toning spray
Boots P & P
Benefit pineapple facial scrub (about twice a week)
Clarins Flash Balm
Clarins Facial peel or clay mask when I remember which is about three times a year.

I have started going for a monthly facial, though, and it has made a world of difference to my skin.

bobbiewickham · 03/11/2007 14:31

Oh, and YonKa grapefruit moisturiser.

PrincessGoodLife · 03/11/2007 14:35

st yves facial scrub in the shower, followed by a make up remover wipe if I fail to get rid of mascara, then once in a blue moon some moisturiser and eye cream (probably once a month realistically)

sophierosie · 03/11/2007 14:47

Dermalogica all the way for me...

Clay cleanser then daily microfoliant in the morning, followed by active moist moisturiser.
Face mask once a week

Am now a convert to dermologica - I know its pricy but it really works with my skin.

ExplosiveScienceT · 03/11/2007 14:48

Does anyone here use non-designer products?

Lazarou · 03/11/2007 14:52

Lancome cleanser and toner
decleor phytopeel - excellent cream exfoliator, once a week
Don't have any eye cream, but I would use a clarins one
lancome aqua fusion continuously infusing moisture face cream
Lancome cooling lifting mask with vegetal protein, and a clay based mask - alternately once a week

ExplosiveScienceT · 03/11/2007 14:53

How come the anti private school brigade don't come down on this thread?

woodenchair · 03/11/2007 15:02

Liz Earle for everything. Fab! Cleanser, toner, moisturizer. Sometimes the exfoliator and/or a clay mask. She also has some special oils that are wonderful. Also a lot cheaper than other designer stuff.
And my skin also improved considerably since I switched all my make-up to LilyLolo. Well, apart from the mascara (I will not swap Lancome for anything else)...

colditz · 03/11/2007 16:09

Soap and dove moisturiser.

Snaf · 03/11/2007 16:12

Lush Ultrabland cleanser and Celestial moisturiser. I also use a Neutrogena face wash in the shower every morning.

I look like shit though, so don't follow my lead...

Hekate · 03/11/2007 16:13

Coal tar soap. Lovely stuff.

paulaplumpbottom · 03/11/2007 16:16

Dermologica's Daily scrub, special cleansing gel, Active moist

Aromathary Associates Rose facial oil

Guinot's midnight secret

Eve Lomm's emergency mask

sugarfree · 03/11/2007 16:16

Tescos liquid handwash on a flannel followed by Chanel hydromax precision moisturiser.(I am a woman of extremes)
Same at night but followed by some night cream or another, cant remember.

Turquoise · 03/11/2007 16:27

Minty - I gave up protect & perfect after about 10 days, v v spotty.

I have been using Elizabeth Arden sensitive skin overnight serum instead, or used to use Estee Lauder advanced night repair.

Mainly I use tea tree oil facial wash and oil from Holland and Barratt as cleanser, then Eucerin lipo base moisturiser, then Clarins instant light on top of that for under makeup. Sometimes a l'oreal or Dior eye cream as I am getting a bit wrinkly, but never any masks.

ChipPYROMANIACminton · 03/11/2007 16:41

Vigin Vie Vitamin C range:
facial wash every day & skin polisher (scrub) about once a week, in the shower. Skin fix day cream
Can't bear creamy cleansers etc so this suits me best.
