Judy Murray - Morpheus 8 Facelift - Turkey neck / Jowls etc

Has anybody seen this article in The Telegraph on Judy Murray and The Morpheus 8 facelift technique.

www.msn.com/en-gb/lifestyle/style/the-4-500-face-lift-judy-murray-had-to-fix-her-turkey-neck/ar-BB1dH2Qr?ocid=msedgntp

Its something I have been thinking about. My interested was piqued by a Mumsnet user last year who documented her before and after for a face lift. Unfortunately I can't find the thread now so I am not even sure if this was the same one.

I am starting to struggle with jowls and turkey neck and hate it. I dont so much mind laughter wrinkles but I really, really dont like this. I look after my skin really well but there is nothing much to do about this rather than some form of intervention.

Does anybody have any thoughts on this? Would love to open discussion about it.

Looks bloody amazing!! We are lucky there are so many more non invasive treatments around now.

If you can afford it, why not? X

Scramblinghealingdreaming · 15/02/2021 14:49

I would have to save hard to afford and I would be worried that the outcome is not as I expect. Would love to hear others thoughts and even better, similar experiences!

The Judy Murray example is a bit ridiculous as all her wrinkles appeared to have disappeared, so credibility lost there as why the photoshop!

I feel like those photos are more than a bit misleading. The lighting is completely different and so is the condition of her skin, like she's has additional resurfacing work or something, Her sun damage is all gone and a facelift wouldn't do that.
I get that she looks great but at least let's be truthful and realistic.

Looking at the serise of pictures, I'd say JM has had botox in her crows feet and forehead, and perhaps around her mouth. I'd say light filler in nose to mouth lines plus possibly deep in her cheek bones for lift.
That plus the treatments she describes and really good skin care with retinol products would get impressive results.

I agree with this. I was naive once and got caught by this- I was going for micro blading on my brows, after a decade or two of over-plucking. I was cautious as I really didn’t want the thick slug-like brows that seem to be in these days. When I said it to the guy, he showed me loads of before and after pics, all of which looked very natural, not a slug in sight. So I went ahead with it. And ended up with two thick black slugs, though I’ve light brown hair. They were truly horrendous. He then tried to tell me they weren’t as bad as I thought and took pics to show me- and then right in front of me lightened the pics before forwarding them to me. In the lightened pics I look like I have flawless skin and full natural looking brows, not a slug to be seen.

So I’d be very wary now looking at those pics of JM- they’ve definitely been filtered/lightened to some degree.

I saw this and it interested me. Is it really that expensive though? For a non-surgical option?

I wouldn’t want to pay all that and then still have to do a face lift down the line!

TheLetterZ · 15/02/2021 17:52

I think she looks better in the first photo. But then I like a face that actually looks lived in. She looks fantastic.

But her body, her choice. And if she is happy with it then that is all that counts really.

DailyCandy · 15/02/2021 18:04

She looks incredible. It's great that she shared the details too - good to know what the options are!

PaulHollywoodsLowHangingFruit · 15/02/2021 18:18

Can't see why she bothered- nothing wrong to start with.

Now she looks the same age but with 'work'.

Angbunnyboo · 15/02/2021 19:32

I think she's had more than just the M8 done, her skin looks completely different, more polished.

Although, it is something Id consider as my jowls and my NL lines are really annoying me. I've looked it up and its £750 in my area for one session so not sure.

turnthebiglightoff · 15/02/2021 19:49

She looks incredible but if my kids started calling me turkey neck they'd be told to get to fuck.

Villanelle17 · 15/02/2021 19:50

It looks so photoshopped, so hard to know what her real results are. I know Morpheus8 can help tighten, but it can't completely change your skin like that.
Do you just have loose skin or fat too? I've seen chin lipo with a tightening treatment have great results.

Scramblinghealingdreaming · 16/02/2021 06:21

I am going to loose weight first to do the max I can to help myself. It's the whole area of I'm honest.

@turnthebiglightoff
I agree re calling their mother turkey neck !
This is the woman who bore them, brought them up, gave them the gifts of life and sport ( along with their Dad of course). How flipping dare they. Smile

MoltonSilver · 16/02/2021 11:26

I'm calling bullshit. I don't for a second believe that those before and after pictures are genuine.

Delatron · 16/02/2021 11:55

There is a video of her talking on a different link. She does look good but lots of make up on so hard to tell.

oil0W0lio · 16/02/2021 12:00

I think the photos are misleading she looks much older than 61 in the first picture.... maybe that's just the way the photo has been been been lit etc 🤔
all that aside I am as vain as a vain thing and very interested in any kind of non-surgical interventions to keep me looking younger than I otherwise would🤩

Delatron · 16/02/2021 12:09

I do think years sitting outside in the sun watching tennis would take its toll. All for her sons then they criticise her!

I do think she looked older than 61 in the original photo. I’m just wondering if micro needling and radio frequency would have that much of an effect on wrinkles and sun damage? I had laser treatment which was amazing for sun damage. Did she admit to Botox too? As there is a serious reduction in wrinkles....

5128gap · 16/02/2021 12:19

@PaulHollywoodsLowHangingFruit

Can't see why she bothered- nothing wrong to start with.

Now she looks the same age but with 'work'.

It's not about knocking years off, its about her wanting to reverse some of the damage done by the sun. I think she looks fantastic after the work, still 61, but a 61 year old whose skin has not been excessively damaged.
Charlieiscool · 16/02/2021 12:30

Even her hair looks so much lighter in the second picture, her skin smooth and pale but it’s obviously fake. They don’t give a realistic idea of the treatment effects at all.

PaulHollywoodsLowHangingFruit · 16/02/2021 13:15

It might just be me - but I don't think anyone who has plastic surgery etc looks younger. They just look like they have had work.

Riapia · 16/02/2021 13:56

Anne Robinson is to be new presenter of Countdown.
She has said although Susie Dent and Rachel Riley are both younger than her, she will not be getting another face lift.
She will make do with the old one.😁

oil0W0lio · 16/02/2021 14:05

I'm only 5 years younger than her and I haven't had a facelift ...I don't look anything like as a rough as she looks in that first picture
She looks about 75 there not 61!

Floisme · 16/02/2021 16:13

I think she looked better before and certainly a lot more interesting. But then I believe you can look your age - or even older than your age - and still look good, which I realise is a foreign concept in some quarters.
However I do appreciate her honesty for not pretending she's never used anything stronger then Nivea.

Apileofballyhoo · 16/02/2021 16:19

OP, have you looked at any microcurrent devices?
