Always on the hunt for new products. I have heard of Glossier but never bought anything. Can I have your standout products and the misses please.

Hi!
I have the mascara and boy brow, and use them both daily. The mascara is genuinely better than any other I have used, it makes lashes look very long but natural, no clumping at all.
I also love the milky jelly cleanser and the lip balm.

Melange99 · 03/02/2021 13:23

Futuredew gets a lot of love, but I fear will just look like a sweaty face on me. Interested in people's experiences with this.

I have quite a few products from them.

Boy Brow - love it. It’s quick and easy to use and just gives my brows a bit of a boost without looking too done.
Stretch concealer - great, doesn’t dry out on my skin. Medium coverage - might not be enough for some.
Foundation - very sheer, like a BB cream but enough for me and does just enough to even out skin whilst not being too noticeable.
Cloud paint - I have a few different colours, they’re very highly pigmented so only need a tiny dab but find they last well and are very pretty colours.
Gloss - I really like the tinted glosses especially the berry one.

SummaLuvin · 03/02/2021 16:11

I've not used them personally as I think they are for a very specific person and that person is not me. They are for the person who has beautiful skin that needs a whisper of coverage, and wants to look very very lightly done, like they almost aren't wearing any product at all. Unless that is you, then you might be disappointed in the products not doing 'enough' for you.

MindBodyChocolate · 03/02/2021 16:16

It is all very sheer and dewy - not for anyone who wants much coverage. I’m 42 and have average skin (a few blemishes/redness etc) and I really like the stretch concealer, boy brow and their eyeliners (called something like eye glide I think)

poopyface · 03/02/2021 16:19

After reading a thread on here I was drawn in on and bought the coconut lip/nail moisturiser tube thing - nice. The brow boy - nice brush but small and didn't last long - now use a much cheaper rimmel and then got the future dew thing you mention - OH MY GOD it gives me the shiniest oiliest face ever, I used the tiniest about and it gives me this gross slick shiny face - definitely definitely not for me - tried it about 5 times in different ways - under/after make up/as a highlighter etc - all nooooo. Overall its a meh from me so won't be buying anything again.

Girlintheframe · 03/02/2021 17:35

There cloud paint is lovely

BurningRed · 03/02/2021 18:09

Futuredew is hands down my can’t live without product. Best new skin/make up product of the last decade for me. The look you get is glowy, not sweaty.

I didn’t like cloud paints - looked like a clown but some of my friends love them - I donated to them!
Boy brow - not for me - I need a pencil as my brows are thin. Recommended by my more bushier friends.

I have the serum too - very good.

BurningRed · 03/02/2021 18:11

And I’d agree with pp’s. Good if your skin is good.

I am mid 30’s and very lucky so I think that’s why the products work for me. I hate wearing foundation etc.

PLAYJAJADINGDONG · 03/02/2021 18:19

I rate the following products (am 40, good skin, like a dewy/light base).

Futuredew is really lovely. It's leaves my (normal/slightly dry) skin all glowy and makeup goes on beautifully over it.

Stretch Concealer - true it's not for those who like full coverage concealer (which imo not a good look as you get older) but it's fab. Brightens the undereye, minimises circles enough for me and doesn't dry down/go crepey or crease-y.

Cloud Paint - love the formula. Just don't love any of the shades on my skin. They have a new shade out called Eve which is a deep mulberry, will definitely be trying that.

Glossier You perfume - lovely cosy, clean slightly 80's smelling skin scent.

Would also buy boy brow or the flick eyebrow pen if they came in my colour. I find the fact that they only do three basic shades really disappointing.

Frodont · 03/02/2021 18:23

I'm 56 and borrowed dds Wowder, liked it so much I bought my own.

Pancakeorcrepe · 03/02/2021 18:32

I absolutely love Boy Brow and the perfume. Also like the lip balm. Have not tried anything else from the brand.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 03/02/2021 18:34

I keep looking at the foundation. I haven't bought because I can't tell what colour I would need.

Sandytoes86 · 03/02/2021 18:40

I love it , I use the skin tint, the stretch concealer and the cloud paint . I have rosacea and it does a good job to even out my skin tone . I’m early thirties and don’t like heavy make up so it suits me and I just feel a little more out together with it on.

DragonMamma · 03/02/2021 18:42

Love their stretch concealer and mascara here too!

millymoo1202 · 03/02/2021 22:17

I’ve got the lip balm and really like it, I’m normally a Bobbi brown girl. My daughter who is 20 loves the mascara, eye cream and brow boy, I borrowed it today and I’m impressed, I used it with a brow gel as mine have gaps. I’m keen to try cloud paint

FaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaBlah · 03/02/2021 22:19

Cloud paint is really good and so is their priming moisturiser. I hated the mascara though.

Respectabitch · 03/02/2021 22:21

Boy Brow is the shit. I've tried a dozen other things and don't find anything else as natural-looking and easy. I like Futuredew too. It can feel a little oily going on but looks great. I think I need to try the Stretch Concealer. I do like a light/natural look though - I could never wear foundation as I find it too heavy and claggy (also I'm too lazy).

Respectabitch · 03/02/2021 22:21

@BobbinThreadbare123

I keep looking at the foundation. I haven't bought because I can't tell what colour I would need.
You can email them a pic and they'll tell you what shade to go for.
GuyFawkesDay · 03/02/2021 22:23

The non foaming face wash is amazing. Smells of roses. So gentle but effective. On my 4th bottle.

Cloud paint, boy brow too.... and their balm is gorgeous. The cake and mango fragrance ones are my favourite.

curlytops21 · 03/02/2021 22:25

I'm 43 with good skin, fair complexion. I love the skin tint and stretch concealer, the cloudpaints (storm and spark are my favourites), boy brow and futuredew.

However, i recommend applying the skin tint and cloudpaint with a brush and it goes on much better, and lasts so much longer.

I tried the mascara recently on a whim, not expecting much and am absolutely blown away by it so will definitely repurchase.

Not overly impressed by balmdotcom or the eyeshadows.

impressivelycunty · 03/02/2021 22:27

Hmmm. Personally I found the mascara rubbish and eye liners nothing special. I think they are a triumph of packaging over content and they often pair a half decent item with a poor one - for that reason I'd say it's also overpriced and overhyped.

Goldieloxx · 03/02/2021 22:38

I liked them at first, esp mascara and boy brow but over time the products just seemed watery. I like cloud paint but I had a slight allergic reaction to it, I've never reacted to any other cream blusher. Also they sent every product in a plastic make up bag which seemed really bad for the environment and put me off

TDMN · 03/02/2021 22:50

Another vote for boy brow even though i didnt want to like it as its expensive for a tiny tube but it is really good, im quite pale and therefore end up getting the blonde colours for eyebrows and theirs is the best colour match, loads of others are just too red or too ashy.
I think its because the colour is more sheer and buildable than competitors, and its a smaller/nicer spooly applicator thing, so they just come off as natural even if you do them in a hurry not really paying attention you'd have to try really hard to fuck up with boy brow.
I also love their sheer matte lipstick but wondering if anyone here has found anything similar from other brands i can try, a sheer matte red preferably long lasting?

domesticslattern · 03/02/2021 23:26

Hi @Goldieloxx
They've got an option now to skip the plastic make up bag, you get asked at checkout if you want it or not.
