Help!! What do I wear with navy!!!

My partner has bought me lots of nice navy work tops (and a nice pair of navy ankle boots) mostly from next but I'm struggling with what to wear them with on my bottom half.
I'm used to wearing black tights/leggings/trousers and I understand that navy and black shouldn't be worn together.
I don't think I can just wear navy on my bottom half too - that would be a bit much, so what do I wear with them?!?
Most of the tops are looser in style/floaty, except one which looks like a stripy shirt under a navy jumper which is a closer fit.

I'm also pregnant at the moment so some ideas that would work for maternity wear would be nice too....

navy can work with olive green, cream, darkest blue and mustard. I love navy blue- it works with lots of colours but carefully to bring them together well.

Oh and jeans obviously!

I've got some camel suede leggings that I wear with navy. I don't look like the pic either

I think you can wear navy with black trousers but maybe not with navy boots as well

I came on to say camel, blush pink and olive green. I love navy!

Navy is also lovely with dark burgundy/plum/fuchsia sort of shades (not bright red).

And mustard, charcoal, white/cream, olive/moss, rust/burnt orange, too.

I live in navy and grey. Even my house is navy with grey.

Navy and good quality (not faded, bobbly) black go well, if it looks intentional. If that makes sense!

Yup, navy and black is definitely a look.

Navy and yellow is nice as well as jewel colours to brighten your look.

You could also wear navy on the bottom and add colour with accessories.

I only wear navy with jeans. I find it a very limited colour for tops. It's such a pain as so many clothes come in navy and either a too pale or too bright colour to suit me.
I know some people like it with black, but it doesn't look right to me.

Navy and black go fine together.

I don't suit black at all, but I do suit navy and wear a lot of it. I wear jeans most of the time, but in the olden days, when I still WOH, I wore navy tops with brown, cream, red, blue, green. Most of my current wardrobe is navy, blue/turquoise and beige .

I wear loads of navy and black. Usually black trousers. Also a burgundy cord skirt.

Navy & black is very chic when it looks deliberate. Navy actually suits a lot of people better than black which is not flattering to all skin tones. I tend to wear it with olive green, blush pink and of course navy which I don’t consider “ too much”

I'm wearing navy and black right now! I do wear it quite a bit, I think they look great together if done in a considered way.

Navy and yellow are my favourite combinations.

You can wear navy trousers and a plain top with cardigan over the top

Navy and sand. I am sat here in some navy leggings and a sand top with a cream cardigan and deep red nail varnish. Its the most stylish I have looked in months. Dylon Dye do a sandy beige which I am going to investigate. Depends on your colouring though.

Yes I do navy with black but as mentioned above it has to look deliberate and not as though you got dressed in the dark. I have lovely french navy scarf and gloves I always team with my smart black coat.

I think if you have a navy top and boots with black trousers it will look intentional.

Otherwise it goes with tan, pink, red, mustard, green and purple.

Depending on the styles, all navy can work well too. It's a warmer version of the sleek all black look.

You have to make sure the shades of navy are bang on though

All navy is fine, navy with black is fine. I know this is style & beauty section so probably shouldn't say this but in truth no one will even notice.
