I had the Rituals one which was nice but not sure I'll buy it again next year (too many shower gels)

I had the SpaceNK one - I loved it. Lots of favourites, only a few products that didn’t excite me but not a single thing I’d swap or give away. I’ll use every item.

I nearly went for one with a more festive box but the contents were so good I’d choose the same again. Never going back to M&S now!

justanotherneighinparadise · 26/12/2020 13:01

I bought the kids hot wheels and playmobil and I was happy with both 👍

beautyboxaddict · 26/12/2020 13:03

I had Cult Beauty and would definitely buy again!

Plump82 · 26/12/2020 13:21

I had Holland & Barrett and Glossybox. Definitely will be getting the H&B and not the Glossybox one which was full of expensive sample sizes. The eyeshadow pallet for Day 25 is fab but not enough to make it worth it overall.

Tanaqui · 26/12/2020 13:28

I had the cheaper Rituals one, it was nice but had a bit of a wobble in the middle with a mens shower gel, a nail file and scrub mitt. It was good for trying all the different scents though.

SnowyZoey · 26/12/2020 13:50

Joe & Seph’s popcorn. Lots of lovely flavours, would recommend.

SnowyZoey · 26/12/2020 13:50

Whoops sorry just realised this is in style and beauty, not chat! Blush

makingmyway10 · 26/12/2020 13:58

I splashed out on the Molton Brown one. I have loved it, lots of full size products; bauble bath gels, hand creams, lip balm etc and smaller sizes of old favourites and new ones I haven’t tried. It was expensive but I had a lot of pleasure from it. Yes I would buy it again next year plus the actual packaging is a beautiful design. Total luxury Smile

SomeoneInTheLaaaaaounge · 26/12/2020 13:58

I got the number 7 one send one year running. It was mostly good. But the products were almost identical to last year and I realised I still have some of them lying about from then.

Would LOVE Spacenk - but a bit pricey for me.

Watching for any recommendations!

Would give Rituals a go always love their stuff.

clopper · 26/12/2020 14:00

I had the large Rituals and I loved it. Such a good variety of items and a beautiful box with lights! I will get one of these again next year I expect.

ihatethecold · 26/12/2020 14:04

I had the Decleor one this year. I got 30% off in November. I loved it. Really lovely products and I don't want to swap anything.

Stripesnomore · 26/12/2020 14:10

I had the Rituals one with lights and the Glossybox one. I would get glossybox or similar next year, or maybe go up to Liberty.

I wouldn’t get Rituals again because even though the variety was good I found the Rituals products themselves to be of pretty low quality.

HotSince63 · 26/12/2020 14:11

I had Cult Beauty this year and it's the only advent calendar I've ever had where I would absolutely buy it again.

WeCameToDance · 26/12/2020 14:52

I had Glossybox and I’m in two minds about it. Overall I thought it was good value for money and I loved day 25’s eyeshadow palette, the Huda and Lime Crime lip sticks and the eyeliner but too many samples otherwise.

Next year I’d like to try Cult beauty or Space NK.

Hopdathelf · 26/12/2020 14:54

Molton Brown was very good. Very unisex too.

RazorstormUnicorn · 26/12/2020 15:02

I was surprised by how good Space NK was. I've only ever had M&S before. I thought the mix of products was excellent. A bit of make up, some skin care, a few bits for hair and a candle and large sample perfume. Really good spread.

Next year Space NK will be the benchmark I check against.

AliceinBunniland · 26/12/2020 15:11

I had Look Fantastic and it was very good but due to delivery and CS issues others had I don't think I'd get theirs again next year

There are so many advent calendars anyway so no need to get the same twice IMHO unless it's something that's quite a good price like M&S was or H&B

Eaumyword · 26/12/2020 15:35

I had the cheaper Body Shop, Rituals, L'Occitane and Arran ones.
I would definitely get the Rituals one next year, loved it and strangely liked the men's shower gel day!
I'll give Body Shop and L'occitane a miss next year (a bit samey from previous years) and will go back to H&B.
Wouldn't bother with Arran again.

Anon22 · 26/12/2020 15:38

I'm getting the Advent for Change calendar and a full size product of something I really want.

Anon22 · 26/12/2020 15:40

oops Advent of Change, not for.

NecklessMumster · 26/12/2020 15:40

I had Holland & Barrat and No 7. Never had one before. I loved the H and B and would do again. No 7 nice, liked the lipsticks but too many mini tubes of skin stuff which I prob won't use..eye shadow primer?

FAQs · 26/12/2020 15:41

For a teen girl the Pretty Little Thing calendar, I thought was good value.

Charlie63849 · 26/12/2020 15:57

@HotSince63

I had Cult Beauty this year and it's the only advent calendar I've ever had where I would absolutely buy it again.
What kind of stuff come in the cult beauty one ? I may get one next year
alecguinnessgenuineclass · 26/12/2020 16:07

I had the Liberty one and loved it. It's a thing of beauty and I didn't feel there were any dud products, except maybe the massively over-valued lip serum. This is my third one in a row so I might mix it up and get a different one next year.

Redbirds · 26/12/2020 16:22

I got the John Lewis one for my daughter and she absolutely loves it; I'd definitely get it again.
