Eyebrow microblading

So following on about my query regarding hd brows, has anyone any experience with microblading? Mine have a couple of sparse patches and I am thinking about long term it might be an idea to have them microbladed rather than have to draw them in every day. Has anyone had this done?

Thank you, I'm very happy with them. I get told all the time how amazing my brows are and I feel like I look more done even when I've got no make up on.

I've not had a top-up yet but probably should do.

FWIW I paid £495 for the consultation, appointment and a follow up appointment. The dye didn't take too well initially so she redid quite a bit and I wasn't allowed to get them wet for two weeks and then they were perfect.

A couple of things I would point out here. Only go to a person who is licensed with their local Council. Microblading is (semi) permanent makeup and is tattooed on. The reason most call it semi permanent is just a question of marketing and for some people they need a top up every year, for others, no top up needed. Tattooing is any colour pigment that is injected or bladed into the skin and in order to have your eyebrows, that is what has to happen. If you go with someone who is licensed, you know the local Council have checked them out on all aspects of safety, cleanliness, hygiene and the council have also seen their registered certificates that say they are competent in this field. The Council will then issue them with certificates that they can display on their premises.

If you go with someone who is unlicensed, they will not be insured, no matter what they blatantly lie about. Too often a beauty salon will advertise “semi permanent eyebrows with 50% off lip fillers”. Don’t be fooled by these persons, unless they are registered they are not competent or insured. Do not go for the cheapest offer. If they cock it up whilst unregistered therefore uninsured, you do not have a leg to stand on.

Got it done a year over a year ago and have had annual top up. Would highly recommend shape my face, and i did over plucking in the 90s so thicken mine.

Powder brows are where it’s total shading infill of the eyebrow shape rather than blading in the look of individual hairs

Not the best pic but you get the idea

Aren't brows supposed to be feathered now?😃
