I have bought two pairs of slippers (from Jones the Bootmaker, no less) and don't really like either of them. One pair is fantastically wide, and the other (according to DP) looks as though I made them at evening classes.

slippers are vile and they get filthy and they are unhygienic. yuck.

i have flip flops, bare feet, socks or when it is very cold russian indoor socks, they're like wood.

Lulla. It's got to be worth a try.

JV - the evening class ones are pretty comfy, in fact I'm wearing them right now. The downside is that they are indoors-only, so I keep standing at our front door and hurling full rubbish bags towards the bins, which are about 10 feet away. It's very classy and is going down well with the neighbours.
