get those ones with a golden handle to hold up to your face. will go down a storm when you are in magistrating.

Porpoise · 26/09/2007 13:15

you are right, you know.
though I like rectangular - hated the round-look craze a while back.
would you suit something like this?

Porpoise · 26/09/2007 13:16

NorthernRockCod · 26/09/2007 13:16

I have some really nice framless ones with titaniaum arms. They are really light and I sont look like I am wearing any.

Got them from COSTCO they were really reasonably priced too

MamaG · 26/09/2007 13:19

I don't like frameless specs

they look weird IMO

NorthernRockCod · 26/09/2007 13:19

basic

Porpoise · 26/09/2007 13:22

but if you don't have the strip along the top, you'll look like those pursed-lip librarian types.

maybe it's just that you need to get used to the change?

MamaG · 26/09/2007 13:22

I have these

and these - look odd but nice on

As I don't wear glasses all the time, I was a bit bolder in my choices and I love them.

SmartArse · 26/09/2007 13:22

Those Specsaver ones are NOT nice, Cod. Where have you looked? I spent £1,300 in David Clulow last weekend on specs for DH and the DDs (they are all completely blind, to the point that they will soon get a free guide dog, methinks). They had a fabbo choice. DD1 went for some rectangle Prada ones, dark purple with light purple/stripey arms. Sound horrible, but look funky. Mind you, she wears contacts so they're only really for those days when she can't be arsed.

NorthernRockCod · 26/09/2007 13:22

mine are only for reading so wont be oaying 1k
