Ugg boots or no Ugg boots?

ScoobyDooooo · 22/09/2007 21:22

Are they totally out now, always wanted a pair but never been able to part with the money, they seem so warm & comfy & also easy to throw on for school runs in winter etc.

So the questions is ugg boots or no ugg boots?

I bought the primark ones a few years ago - they wear crap

quadrophenia · 23/09/2007 19:53

primarks ones are really very nice, not sure how they'll stand up to the winter, am going to save mine for dry days only

quadrophenia · 23/09/2007 19:53

suwoo · 23/09/2007 19:56

I could have written the OP, I am debating getting some too. I love the pewter ones, but not sure if they'll be as practical as the black ones for the school run??

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 19:57

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 20:03

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 20:03

i still l think id rather get some LOVELY looking boots

woodenchair · 23/09/2007 20:11

who said we can't have more than one pair or boots

I like these lovely grey boots and £40 for leather they're a bargin

Slubberdegullion · 23/09/2007 20:12

I tend to wear them sans socks and only on really chilly days (when you can see your breath). If I am doing a bracing walk (with mud) then I do become a tucky inner.

kitsandbits · 23/09/2007 20:13

I've just ordered fake black ones,

whatevers been said on this thread doesnt bother me as at least I can say I have never, and would never buy crocs!!!

NorthernRockCod · 23/09/2007 20:13

ah now THEY are nice the grey

BBBee · 23/09/2007 20:22

young and svelte is fine for these - but if you are slightly oldish you may fall into littel old lady catergory.

they wear furry boots.

Vinegar · 23/09/2007 20:23

I bought them from the States recently and they are super comfy. I would definately recommend them. I don't tuck bm jeans in them-don't think I have the figure to do that. I don't really care if they are trendy or not, I just love how they feel so cosy.

DirtyGertiefromnumber30 · 23/09/2007 20:28

my friend from oz is coming over with a pair for me next week, only paid £60 instead of £140!

office is selling their version of uggs (exactly the smae)for bout £90.

DirtyGertiefromnumber30 · 23/09/2007 20:29

oh, i hate the word oz btw, should have said australia

heifer · 23/09/2007 20:30

Fimbo - I know what you mean about people turning over the foot etc, I have seen quite a few like that recently - but I just assumed that there were wearing fake books and therefore not as supportive etc.

Not seen any that I know for sure were uggs like that.

I like the Quiksilver (Roxy) ones, and not so expensive...
