And mine have always been disproportionatly large - even before they were milk monsters

DollyPopsOut · 17/09/2007 23:56

I realised the pencil test counted for nothing when I was at university... I could hold a bottle of gin under mine! Droopy but useful. Admittedly they look better when I am smaller (still point south but less voluminous) but I've had 2 kids and am still BF so diets can wait.....

A pencil would be frankly hilarious for me! I'd have failed that at 11. THere is something very comforting about large boobs. For the recipient rather than me.

margosbeenplayingwithmynoonoo · 18/09/2007 00:12

To answer OP - no

icod or anyone - what is CHOMING?

nappyaddict · 18/09/2007 00:18

i'm a c but would like to be a d. they have sagged a bit after ds but it makes them look better imo. makes them look a little bit bigger somehow!

MamaG · 18/09/2007 08:57

margo - she means chomping

That picutre is actually of a Mumsnetter

MamaG · 18/09/2007 08:57

....but I couldn't possibly out her AllieBongo

Piffle · 18/09/2007 14:36

Also brings a tear to the eye when you sleep naked (at your peril) and inadvertently catch your nipple with your elbow when rolling over...

MrsSpoon · 18/09/2007 16:01

Mercy, it's really not wise to be posting naked photos of yourself on the internet, who knows what sort of weirdo stalkers you may attract!

MamaG · 20/09/2007 11:21

oh [cringe] I've done hte nipple roll

Piffle · 20/09/2007 11:25

Ok so what cup size hypothetically should I go for next year + when I get them reduced?
What is the perfect size then?
Currently am 32HH

MamaG · 20/09/2007 12:16

I'd go to a D (given the choice) as I wouldn't like to have small boobs

TheOldestCat · 20/09/2007 12:31

I'd say beauty in this department is in the eye of the nork-beholder.

A former flatmate was horrified that her breast reduction (to 'the average' 34C)) hadn't worked because she'd been to a party and men had still checked out her chesticles.

Not so well-endowed other flatmate (34AA) and me (36B) had to explain that, in our experience, men tended to look at your chest no matter what the size.

She didn't listen to us and had a further reduction.

Admittedly, this is the woman who told me and other flatmate that we didn't understand her troubles because "men don't go after you for your looks'.

moodlumthehoodlum · 20/09/2007 12:35

Big Norks small norks - doesn't really matter. What you want to avoid is what DH calls 'Spaniel's ears' which are flat droopy norks big or small (apparently).

MitfordSisters · 20/09/2007 12:39

I used to have normal sized ones but now they're enormous.

The difference is that blokes now ALWAYS look at my breasts before they look at my face, whereas in the past, the odd one would not check the breastage first.

MitfordSisters · 20/09/2007 12:41

piffle, get a C

Piffle · 20/09/2007 13:12

I fancied a c cup but dp thinks a d or dd cup
The big worry is if they grow again which can happen.
i am quite small framed and feel I am a natural C cup, my mum is slightly smaller than me and is a C and it suits her...

MamaG · 20/09/2007 14:56

In that case, a C sounds good - you'll still be in proportion if they do grow a bit (to a D)

MitfordSisters · 20/09/2007 14:58

If you're a 32 then sounds like you have a slim frame anyway so C would be enough for curvaceousness purposes but not too big for sport - if you like that sort of thing. Maybe compromise with a D to keep DH happy???

Do you have to pay for it or is it NHS?

NDPIsProbablyGoingToHell · 20/09/2007 14:58

I'm a 32F and mine are great, it's just the rest of me that's gone to pot

NDPIsProbablyGoingToHell · 20/09/2007 14:59

am an FF in Freya bras but I do think that they are cut on the small side

MamaG · 20/09/2007 15:00

[outrage] Mitford - how dare you suggest she bases her cup size on what will keep her DH happy?

MrsSpoon · 20/09/2007 16:53

Piffle, if I were to have a reduction I would go for a D cup or less, at least then you can buy bras from ordinary shops without having to take out a second mortgage to pay for them.

Piffle · 20/09/2007 19:05

keeping them this hugemongoose size would please him bestest, and I'm sticking 2 fingers up and saying I want LESS.
He fears loss of nip sensitivity far far more than I do as well!

sport - now I've never been able to do sport, perhaps with littuns I could learn how to..nah it's private, apparently I'm not big enough for NHS and with nhs they only take off enough to make you comfy and not to a specific size....

MitfordSisters · 20/09/2007 22:33

MamaG, it was a flippant comment, granted. I was carried away by the fluffy nature of style and beauty threads (shall i get the purple one or the blue one etc.) and forgot for a moment that we are talking about real life breasts.

gibberish · 20/09/2007 22:37

I hate mine. No saggyness or crepiness yet... but they still make me look much bigger than I actually am. I would chop them off with a meat cleaver if I could. dh is rather keen on them, but he doesn't have to carry them around does he?
