What do you wear in that interim period when it's too cold for flip flops and too hot for boots?

I always find this inbetween stage really pants. feet cold but still too hot for tights. Real shoes rub too much without tights. And then what shoes? ballet pumps is ok but flat. ooo is so annoying.

I have closed-toe but open-side wedges (this kind of shape but more casaual) that are doing very nicely

I wear ballet flats or fake converse trainers. Not wearing skirts til its tights weather.

I got mine in a sale in a little tiny shop in the town my university is on! I wear a size 2, but as they didn't have any I said I'd try a 3.... they were a little loose but I tye the laces tighter.

I never looked at the box & about 2 weeks after I bought them dh tole me they were a size 4! So they are 2 sizes too big for me!

My niece has a pair almost the same but they aren't converse, they have a white background & are very convincing looking!
