oh my pink squall parka is here

£28 including postage

god it is so warm and it does not make me look like a pillow - in fact I look rather lovely if I do say so myself

I have never been able to afford a coat that feels like it will keep me warm before now; I no longer fear the approaching winter

you are my new favourite person

if ever you need anything I am completely in your debt

What kind of pink? Pale or deep and luscious and why wasn't I told?

Cappuccino · 14/09/2007 10:21

here it is spread the joy

now also available in purple but not in my size

glad you are pleased
cod tipped me off re their raincoat so am paying it forward, as it were

(in exchange you can tell me how to make a squealing overtired 4wk old sleep...)

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:12

Very, very dubious of the elasticated waist thingy

I too am dubious of the elasticated waist.

You'd look good in that one though cappuccino, next to a stuffed penguin

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:14

Hmmm, still not convinced, but that shape is better

MamaG · 14/09/2007 13:15

have to be honest cod, I'm not sure of that two tone look

MrsBadger · 14/09/2007 13:15

so long as you do not haul the elastic in tis ok

other one without elastic

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:19

I'm still trying to decide between the rain mac and the commuter coat @ LE. The commuter coat looks more flattering as it has darts and looks more fitted, but the mac on is in nicer colours.

MrsBadger · 14/09/2007 13:29

this commuter coat?
dry clean only and not waterproof - run a mile

or this one?
tie belt not for me, also pricey
is much warmer though as has zip-out quilty liner - I inherited an ancient version of it from my mum and it was fab

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:32

No, the one in the sale. Hang on

This one or \link{http://www1.landsend.co.uk/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=361&prrfnbr=2422885&cat_p arent=178654&cgrfnbr=178654&mdiv=OSwm&cat_level=prod}

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:32

cock. try again

2nd one

MamaG · 14/09/2007 13:33

I like boht ndp

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:34

me too, but unsure about the baby blue in the commuter one.

MamaG · 14/09/2007 13:35

I liked the oliuve green in the first one

but I am quite conservative

ladymac · 14/09/2007 13:36

What, pray tell, is a 'flattering princess seam'?

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:36

I liked the olive too, but fear it may be a little plain

ladymac · 14/09/2007 13:39

I also love Mrs B because she was the only one who read the manual that went with the car seat.

ladymac · 14/09/2007 13:40

So now we know where to tuck our straps.

MamaG · 14/09/2007 13:40

but NDP, isn't plain good for a coat? Will go with most things then

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:41

Yes. I suppose I worry that olive may look a bit like one of those granny pac-a-mac things

MrsBadger · 14/09/2007 13:42

I have the olive rain mac
it is indeed plain, but nothing a nice scarf won't solve, and is a v good colour. Also has pretty trim where lining meets coat.

princess seams are the ones piped in white here
