oh my pink squall parka is here

£28 including postage

god it is so warm and it does not make me look like a pillow - in fact I look rather lovely if I do say so myself

I have never been able to afford a coat that feels like it will keep me warm before now; I no longer fear the approaching winter

you are my new favourite person

if ever you need anything I am completely in your debt

Is it straight up and down or is there a little bit of fitted-ness (not a word, I know) to it ?

ladymac · 14/09/2007 13:45

Hmmm, she looks like she's more used to porn seams than princess seams.

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:45

Plus I don;t really 'do' scarves, I assume you mean scarves of the chiffony tie jauntily at the neck variety

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:45

That is a rather inappropriate pose, you're right ladymac

MrsBadger · 14/09/2007 13:48

it is quite straight, but so long as you are not (iyswim) is is actually rather flattering

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:49

I'm not.

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:49

Maybe I'll order one and give it a go

MrsBadger · 14/09/2007 13:50

no no, ones to keep your neck warm
I don't do chiffony either

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:50

Yes, I do the neck warming ones.

lilibet · 14/09/2007 13:51

I am very tempted with this - looks like just the thing for standing on a footballl touchline at weekends

What are their sizes like?

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 13:57

It seems to say that a M is a 10/12 and an L is a 14/16.

ladymac · 14/09/2007 13:57

Hijack, sorry.

lilibet, sorry been busy and away from computer, will go back to thread re older mums to answer your question.

MrsBadger · 14/09/2007 14:00

yes but that is american sizes
and they cut generously

I am a 10-12 and the Small is fine

NDPWantsANewCamera · 14/09/2007 14:01

I am a 12, a big 12/small 14 on fat days. I guess a M would be fine ?

AeFondKiss · 14/09/2007 14:08

would the le one be good even for short people? I am 5 ft... tempted by the blue....

Cappuccino · 14/09/2007 14:21
