I love it. But am self conscious about it also.

Shit I’m so jealous of you all. I have the thinnest, finest, crappest hair but just don’t have the features or head shape to pull off shaving it. I would just look grim. It would be the perfect solution to the hair issues and lack of hairdressing issues too right now but I just can’t.

You all look great. I can imagine how liberating it must feel. No more bad hair days, no messing about with hairdryers, brushes, mousses, sprays etc.

My dd who is 13 did hers, a number 1 all over. I love it, school for sure won't!!

I am desperate to get rid of my colour and see what my hair looks like grey but don’t have the nerve. I had awful roots and put a home due in it a few days ago. It looks dreadful. Far too dark. Just hacking it all off might be the answer but shaving it?!!

You all look fabulous! Much better than me after doing one of those layered cuts with a pony tail - I look like I have a longish bob at the front and longer mullet at the back .

Unfortunately, I have a weird face shape and would not suit short hair.

I mowered my head on Thursday, spent a large portion of yesterday simply rubbing my suede head and I'm still doing a double take when I catch my reflection. 😳

I had another go at my neck line and it looks a little better.

I think my DH would be if I did mine. I’ve been a bit emotionally unstable lately (last year or so due to dealing with family illness for years) and I think he’d take it as me ‘doing a Britney’.

@zen1, if you keep the same guard on all over you won't get any patches, just make sure the guard is on securely! There are round shavers that make it easier doing it yourself, but the others are still do-able. I think Babyliss do one. Or if someone can do it for you. When I done mine I wore a hat when I went out.

It's pretty easy to shave it. It's just the nap of the neck that's difficult as I had lots of whispy hairs that needed shaving without a guard.

I've talked to 3 neighbours and 2 completely ignored it 😂😂 How very British

For anyone who has a round face, like I do. I have still shaved my hair. I just need to figure out how to do makeup for when I need to leave the house in the future.

Zen, so are you actually going to do it? 😝 I've often done impulsive things with my hair, just thinking well it'll grow, and mines slow growing. I done mine on shortest guard or about 2mm I think and it looked really nice when about very short pixie length. Was a few years ago. I started with longest guard on first. Disclaimer - don't blame me if it goes horribly wrong!
