My boys 12 and 25 and husband are blessed with very thick hair which grows very quickly!! Do you think the shaved look will be in right now? Ds 15 is forever preening his hair even just to walk the dog 😬 wondering if I can convince him to shave it off 😂

Yes!! He has shaved it all off for ‘fresh hair’ Hmm does it every now and again and I’m not a fan of the bald head at all....but it’s his hair I guess...maybe they want fresh hair too whilst no one will see them? Grin

AuntieDolly · 30/03/2020 21:59

Yup, 21 year old completely bald

nearlyfinished1moreyear · 30/03/2020 22:00

My OH shaved his this morning! Lo is badly needing cut but I'm refusing to shave it. I don't think he would let me, dad is currently renamed Baldy Confused

SegregateMumBev · 30/03/2020 22:01

Shaved my DH at the weekend. Suspect I’ll be shaving my own by next weekend.

AppleKatie · 30/03/2020 22:03

Shaved the boy children of the house today. DH is less keen on the idea but I’m itching to do it 😂

doublecheeseburgermediumfries · 30/03/2020 22:08

Yep! Last Tuesday morning it was shaved off. He was meant to have it cut Tuesday evening, after cancelling his appointment the week before, but lockdown happened!

He used his beard trimmer and tested an area. Turned out to be the lowest setting🙃 so it all had to come off!

Genuinely screamed with fright when he came in from his hour of exercise on Tuesday because I 1)didn't have my glasses on and 2) forgot we shaved it that morning so I thought a stranger had walked in the flat 😂😂

GreenShadow · 30/03/2020 22:10

Oh dear. Is this a thing? What's wrong with long hair. Looks far nicer than a skinhead.

Shitsgettingcrazy · 30/03/2020 22:11

Dp has contemplated it. But he did it at the end of last year nd regretted it, so is hesitant to do it again.

LizzieSiddal · 30/03/2020 22:13

My son in law and nephew have. I expect I’ll feel like it soon. I’m desperate for a cut.

MynameisJune · 30/03/2020 22:13

We have clippers, I’ve done DH’s hair with a number 8 all over. He won’t let me go any shorter 🤣

bellinisurge · 30/03/2020 22:15

Dh bought some clippers. He's really miserable if his hair gets too long.

AppleKatie · 30/03/2020 22:16

I need to work out how to do a no. 8.

I thought I was doing the DC on a long setting. I wasn’t.

😂

Chesneyhawkes1 · 30/03/2020 22:17

My DH said he's going to tomorrow. I said I'll have a go at trimming it first 😬

WatchingFromTheWings · 30/03/2020 22:20

DH has been talking about shaving it all off as he's really really thin bald on top but was hanging onto what is left. He let me shave it really really short yesterday as he's been furloughed for 3 weeks so has time to get used to it. Also did youngest DS hair too.

MaJoady · 30/03/2020 23:27

DH was planning on doing it and then saw his brother (who had) on Skype. He's now decided against Grin

boredboredboredboredbored · 31/03/2020 06:56

No, ds 15 won't let anybody beat his head with clippers. He's decided to grow it now it looks a right bloody mess 🤦‍♀️

moveandmove · 31/03/2020 07:16

Urgh no, shaved heads look awful

okiedokieme · 31/03/2020 07:33

I've been told I need to do exh's when I finally get home (I'm at dp's by chance at time of lockdown) exh is keeping an eye on our (adult) kids and his hair is out of control apparently (dd said) not sure why she can't do it, the clippers are still at the family home I think, might have thrown them

cece · 31/03/2020 07:37

Yes, my 16 year old has.

popgoesperfection · 31/03/2020 07:42

Oh would rather grow it long and wear a bobble than let me shave it 😂 he loves his hair waaay too much to shave it off !!

TakeMeBackToLondis · 31/03/2020 07:44

My DP is so funny with his hair, he won't let no one near him with clippers ever.

My dad, on the other hand, came to me - clippers, scissors and comb in hand - and asked me to try and do his hair like one of the characters from S.W.A.T Grin

  • It doesn't look that bad if I do say so myself...

If DD keeps calling me over and over and over again, and DP moans once more about life without football Angry, I think I'll be clipping my head, a la Britney, before the end of the week.

TakeMeBackToLondis · 31/03/2020 07:47

Bold fail.. clearly MN enjoys pushing me to the edge also.

lazylinguist · 31/03/2020 07:47

Opposite here. Dh normally cuts his very short with clippers, but has decided that he's going to grow Viking-style hair and beard while on lockdown. Complete with beads apparently. Hmm

TakeMeBackToLondis · 31/03/2020 07:48

I'm sorry, @lazylinguist , but.. beads? Grin that's made my morning.

GinasGirl · 31/03/2020 08:03

Four of them here and only one, so far...
