I took some photos of a couple more of my bags. These are high street, so very affordable.

This little bucket bag is from Whistles. I like the colour for summer days, I like the versatility of handheld plus crossbody or shoulder, and I like that it’s small enough to use for an evening out too. I think it goes well with casual outfits but also looks dressy enough to wear with dress and heels.

Here are a couple more, trying to show what it looks like with handle up. I like the side view too.

And here’s a little one from Russell & Bromley that’s almost too small to be functional, but I just loved it and had to have it. It fits my phone, a mirror and lipstick plus a packet of tissues and a card wallet, but doesn’t fit my reading glasses. So cute though! The third photo gives a better idea of the colour.

Last week I lined up my top three bags, almost like a queue for the next time I'll have any reason to take them anywhere - thanks Lockdown.

@cheeseandpickledonions A beautiful bag! I want a Chanel someday and I’ve always thought I’d get myself one of their classic small flap bags for dressy occasions. But thinking about it, I’d get much more joy out of a bucket bag or similar that I could sling over my shoulder and wear day-to-day...

I wondered if it was a Leighton! One of my most favourites of their newer designs, and in a colourway that I absolutely love, too. There are so many bags I want, and not nearly enough £££ in my accounts. 😭😭

The Leighton is a great everyday bag, you can get a surprising amount in it. It always looks polished, but not too stuffy. I love it.

The Amberley is brilliant as I can fit a 13" laptop in it.

I'm always keen that my pricier bags are useful, If I'm going to spend £1000+ on a handbag, I want it to fulfil a need. I pretty much alternate between those two Mulberrys every weekday. (You know, when I used to leave the house).

Yes the Leighton is on my list, it’s just a matter of making up my mind on the colour/design.

And then I’ve first got to buy an Aspinal bag that I’ve had my heart set on for ages...again, need to decide firmly on exact style and exact colour...maybe in the Black Friday sales! Then the Mulberry in the Jan sales? We’ll see how much I manage to save...
