Is it possible to get a coat with a hood which is not frumpy????

It has just occured to me that I am going to need a coat to wear to walk to and from school as DS2 is in a pushchair and I will not be able to take an umbrella.

Does anyone know where I can get a stylish and warm coat with a hood?

Will be able to spend about £70.

I never can find the right rain hat , hence giving away the Orla Kierly coat which was sad to see not being worn.
What hat do you wear MrsB with your mac?

i preordered [smug]

MrsPuddleduck · 10/09/2007 15:07

icod - you could be right.

The only problem I have with Boden is that you can tell its Boden a mile of iyswim.

In fact on holdiday there was a "boden family" as I called them. They were head to foot in boden for two weeks - you could just tell.

Having said that I always play things safe...

DR - would you need to wear a jumper under it?

OP posts:
DarrellRivers · 10/09/2007 15:11

I think when really cold you would need a jumper.
I see it more as a rainy day coat than a cold day coat
There is never one coat for all purposes it seems
If i am pushing buggy I tend not to get cold i find
