I love shoes and I love heels that make a statement. But it is a rare day I manage to keep my heels on all day.

I do flats every now and again but I don;t feel right in them and often feel that being 5 foot two I need the height when dealing with teenagers who tower over me.

I do wear wedges sometimes as they tend to be more comfortable but even they rarely make it past 2pm.

So can anyone recomend some comfy heels to me.

Have you tried M+S footglove heels? I did feel a bit of an old fogey but I tried some on yesterday and I thought they looked pretty, and felt comfortable

I have looked at footglove but did find it depressing, I do have a pair of marks wedges that have done me through the summer.

I also went to look at nexts version of footglove but gain very dull.

F and Z I have tried to buy your second pair the black wedges as they are very comfy but my store never have my size.

Oops Looking at the footglove range obviously inspired a 'senior moment'

I ahve some betty Jackson shoes similar to your last link, perhaps I oculd buy those and start of the day in my fabulous patent shoes and then when my feet get weary I could go into the footglove version!

i'm looking for something too...but mine need to be flat really as i need to be prepared to run!

My style is either wacky such as irregular choice or traditional with a modern twist so I have a lower pair of these betty jackson shoes

I buy a lot from office and monsoon as well, I just love shoes that are a bit different and girly.

i teach in a pru
so we may have to run to stop fighting teenagers or escaping 4 year olds

DD's tecaher liked shoes like this BUT she wore ballet type indoor things in the classroom.

i search the shops for kitten heels as i just can't do highs for teaching. i also hate footgloves - sort of thing my mum used to wear.
debenhams & new lookdo quite a few, and i like nine west as well.

Yes I do that I have some leapord print slippers that I change into that sit under my desk and I appoint shoe monitors to take care of my shoes!

I also have some crocs for when my feet are in need of special care and I have trousers on - I have trained my lower school classes to chant "don't mock the crocs" if anyone makes a negative comment.

I want but I am not sure if that heel is going go be uncomfortable.

i often just kick mine off altogether as all rooms are carpettecd -you just have to watch out for te odd staple!
