Having brows microbladed today - EEEEK!!

Am very nervous, feel like I'm going to the dentist or something equally horrific. Please tell me it won't hurt like hell and I won't look hideous for weeks! Show me yours so that I can see that it's worth it.

I think this is normal. My beautician said there will be a period when you think you've wasted your money as they've gone so pale, but then the colour starts to come through. Send your beautician a pic if you're worried.

I'm going out tonight and mine look freaky, will have to resist the urge to pencil them in!

There you go then - don't panic. I can't wait till mine are completely healed, it's a pain having to wait. I went to the gym this morning and I was mopping the sweat off my head every 10 seconds!

Yes - I’m rubbing my forehead raw to make sure no sweat gets on my precious precious brows!

Can we have a brow status check @HermioneWeasley? My scabs have nearly all flaked off now, but they look a bit of a milky colour. My DD(16) says they look good for my hair colour (blonde) but I would like the colour to come through a bit more! Pic to beautician and she has said all ok so happy days.

Hi, it will be a full 2 weeks on Friday and then the colour starts to come through properly in week 3. Completely normal, believe me I have googled it to death and pestered my beautician! Then I have a follow-up session in early May to top up and correct any patchy bits if necessary. Should last 12-18 months after that.

Oh wow, well worth it if it lasts that long!

I’m two weeks tomorrow and at the awful patchy scabby stage! Hoping the remaining scabs come off and the colour comes through ASAP! They looked so perfect when first done 😭

I had mine done for the first time 4 weeks ago, and had the top up session yesterday.
Like PP, I also had the scabby bits falling off and taking quite a lot of pigment with it, and patchy bits.
They did even out a bit, however my brows had all but gone back to how they were before, before the top up, ie very thin and sparse. It was really weird, maybe my skin doesn’t retain the pigment, as I have oily skin.

Had the top up, and they look MASSIVE and crazy! 😬 Way more full on than first time around, and hurt more!!
I’m due to go out for an anniversary dinner with DP tonight, and bit nervous about going out like this!!

Can someone please be brave enough to share a pic before they're fully healed. Just crop it so it's just the brows. I've been thinking about doing it, but I want to know how it'll look between getting it done and full healing

When the scabs come off do they take the hair with it?
