Am very nervous, feel like I'm going to the dentist or something equally horrific. Please tell me it won't hurt like hell and I won't look hideous for weeks! Show me yours so that I can see that it's worth it. Smile

PLEEEEEEEASE someone reassure me, seriously freaking out here!!!

Lamplighter234 · 28/02/2020 15:47

How did you go on? I’ve not had mine done but considering it as they are a bit feeble and getting worse with age!

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 28/02/2020 16:01

Just back, was ok. Lots of numbing cream helped. The worse bit is the first part when they break the skin, then the rest is just a bit uncomfortable. Go for it! I'm really pleased with the results. Would post a pic but they're a bit stark at the minute - they fade after a few days.

Glad you’re pleased with the result, maybe post a pic when they’ve calmed down a little?

buckeejit · 28/02/2020 18:47

I had mine done nearly 3 years ago I think. They've gone a bit orange now Confused need to get something done with them

HermioneWeasley · 28/02/2020 22:23

Just got back from having mine done.

It fucking hurt, but they look great.

HermioneWeasley · 28/02/2020 22:23

Now to keep them dry for 10 days....

Happygirl79 · 28/02/2020 22:26

Had mine done 3 years ago and very pleased but they do need doing again now
Quite painful but well worth it

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 29/02/2020 09:42

Happy brow day @hermioneweasley!

Thanks @chocolatesaltyballs22

You too

How are yours this morning

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 29/02/2020 10:23

They're fine, just surprised myself when I looked in the mirror first thing haha! No scabbing yet. You?

OP posts:
chocolatesaltyballs22 · 29/02/2020 11:26

Also, how bloody difficult is it to shower without getting your face wet?!

OP posts:
HermioneWeasley · 29/02/2020 12:26

No scabbing yet, but general area still quite red and swollen! They look like well drawn on eyebrows which was odd to wake up with

Haven’t attempted showering yet but bought some face shields from Amazon which I’ll be trying out later

thefourgp · 29/02/2020 12:29

I’ve had mine done and I’m so glad I did. It stings a bit but it’s okay. Just make sure you put on Vaseline twice a day for at least three days. I’ve had a lot of compliments. Good luck OP. X

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 29/02/2020 12:41

My beautician said to put nothing on.

KickAssAngel · 29/02/2020 12:52

Can I ask if you can get micro blading if you have eyebrows, or do they only work if you've got very little hair?

HermioneWeasley · 29/02/2020 12:52

Mine said the same - I asked about putting a cream or similar on like tattooing and she said absolutely not

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 29/02/2020 13:12

@KickAssAngel either works. I have very little brow hair, but if you do you can still get them done.

Silversurfie · 01/03/2020 12:37

Had mine done recently. Delighted with them. It's good to have fuller brows again as mine were getting a bit sparse with age. The hardest part was not getting them wet in the shower during the healing period. I did a lot of backwards contortions!
I was given some kind of aqueous cream to put on them during the healing phase- a bit like vaseline but not as sticky or shiny.

@KickAssAngel - Yes, you can get them done if you have brows. I still have brows - they're just a bit thin from overplucking when much younger. Microblading thickens and/or shapes them depending on what look you want. Why not try a consultation to see if it's for you?

HermioneWeasley · 01/03/2020 13:18

Tried my stick on face shield for thr first time in the shower and it worked a treat

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 02/03/2020 07:56

OMG mine are itchy today!

OP posts:
chocolatesaltyballs22 · 06/03/2020 16:01

@HermioneWeasley how are your brows looking? I have half flaked off skin with paler brows underneath, and half darker with scabs on! It's most attractive! I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end though.

HermioneWeasley · 06/03/2020 19:07

Hello eyebrow buddy!

Mine have settled to look very natural - bit lighter than they were first few days after and not tight and shiny any more. I took have dry flaky skin - nice. Unfortunately I’ve got a couple of patches where the pigment hasn’t taken (or a scab has fallen off and taken it with it?) so I’ve got a follow up in a couple of weeks. But I love them, I love having (nearly) perfect eyebrows all the time and I’ve had a few compliments.

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 06/03/2020 19:09

Me too I think they're gonna change my life! Smile

OP posts:
HermioneWeasley · 06/03/2020 19:39

Definitely. It’s a new addiction
