Where do you buy your knickers?

Long posting history, definitely not a pervy troll Smile

I usually buy from M&S but fancy a change. I'm looking for bikini style cotton knickers that are comfortable and dont cut your bum cheeks in half. Thanks!

Sloggi hipsters or Brazilian briefs.
Sainsbury's high waist full cottons' for that time of the month.
Debenhams 3 for however much, Brazilian or bikini briefs for everyday.

Thisismynewname123 · 18/01/2020 16:44

Always get from Gap for regular cotton knickers

MaxPaddyandHarry · 18/01/2020 16:48

Tesco

halulat · 18/01/2020 16:51

M and s and VS/Pink. Always seem to have offers on in VS/Pink.
Would have been Ethel Austin in my younger years ...

Without wishing to hijack this thread, surely if changing rooms are being used inappropriately, that is a separate issue. Women are not male entertainment centres.

As for items being returned in a “worn” state (putting it ultra politely) single gender changing rooms won’t solve that.

StarlightLady · 18/01/2020 17:45

...and floor to ceiling lockable doors should be a requirement in mixed gender facilities. Surely design, not gender seperation is the issue.

CointreauVersial · 18/01/2020 18:54

I buy my M&S knickers online, so unless there's a perv in the warehouse, I'm pretty sure no man (or woman!) has tried them on already.

Not a huge fan of mixed changing rooms, but I like unisex toilets even less, and they are everywhere. Not planning to boycott M&S, I'm afraid.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/01/2020 20:57

For those saying M&S are you genuinely not bothered that they might have been tried on by men for kicks?

Actually , I hadn't thought of this but I wouldn't buy any that looked opened (it is impossible to re fold them as nearly as they were factory fresh)

And I wash clothes before I wear them anyway .

Ofthread · 18/01/2020 22:10

How come men are trying on women's pants then? Is it only M&S affected by this development?

Ofthread · 18/01/2020 22:18

Right, just been on M&S website for the reviews. Seriously, are men ok???

TheQueensCousin · 18/01/2020 22:19

The Primark 'Sloggialikes' absolutely brilliant. Last for ages and wash well as well as being really comfortable to wear. Usually I like quality clothing that will be timeless and last for years, as long as they still fit!
They come in packs of three, white, nude or black.

raspberrymolakoff · 18/01/2020 23:19

Sloggis for me, so comfy. I usually buy from John Lewis.

CointreauVersial · 18/01/2020 23:27

I always read M&S reviews, and have never before noticed the large number of male knicker reviewers. What an eye-opener. Shock

Ofthread · 18/01/2020 23:30

It's probably one bloke in Staines writing them all

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 18/01/2020 23:34

Victoria's Secret, binned the rest of them!

endofthelinefinally · 19/01/2020 01:25

For me, accepting that fetishists buy stuff online is one thing. Encouraging them into the changing rooms is a step too far. Especially if they are in the cubicle next to me or my teenage daughter. M&S are perfectly aware of this.

Oliversmumsarmy · 19/01/2020 02:37

Another reason to not wear any.

Told a friend years ago who was horrified that I didn’t wear underwear.

Next time she met me she confessed to going without and how wonderful it felt

StarlightLady · 19/01/2020 06:29

This thread has gone in an interesting, maybe a worrying direction.

Being a woman of a certain age, I have seen a not insignificant number of men in their pants and less. In every case, at the front they need extra room when compared with us. So these men wearing our knix must be lacking something and be uber small; tiny! Grin Says it all.

@Oliversmumsarmy - I don’t slways wear any on a warm summer’s day, it feels lovely. But it’s not a winter sport!

CoffeeRunner · 19/01/2020 06:34

Tesco usually.

Hahaaa, absolutely hilarious Hmm

arixo · 19/01/2020 07:10

Victoria Secret, M&S

Luckystar777 · 19/01/2020 07:30

asda

happycamper11 · 19/01/2020 07:34

Asda are surprisingly nice and comfy

CointreauVersial · 19/01/2020 15:57

@Oliversmumsarmy - my first thought when I hear about someone going commando is "what about all that extra laundry?" Presumably if you wear a pair of jeans or trousers you have to put them in the wash daily. It must also add an extra layer of risk when you have your period, surely? And OMG, what about the draughts?!

Oliversmumsarmy · 19/01/2020 16:01

Periods are a distant memory.
Love draughts
And I wash clothes after one wearing anyway
