I’d love a really gorgeous scent but also kind to skin. Any recommendations please?

Someone- Lush discontinued Flying Fox years ago, sadly. It was always my favourite. Have never found anything else as nice

katy1213 · 16/01/2020 23:00

Aesop rose or REN.

My 2 favourites are L'Occitane almond shower oil, smells like marzipan, and Weleda citrus body wash which smells like sherbet lemon sweets.

Nottsangel2015 · 17/01/2020 07:40

Lush shower jelly in conga - not sure if was a limited edition as brought before Xmas but smells amazing and the scent stays on your body ages after. Also love all the sanctuary smells too.

Balloondog · 17/01/2020 08:26

TK Max have a great range of beautiful smelling soaps. You can pick up gorgeous french milled fine soaps for next to nothing, give them a whirl, it's my new obsession!

honeycrumpet · 17/01/2020 11:21

Korres Santorini Vine is my shower gel obsession. I love it so much. They have loads of really nice ones, the only one I've found that I hated was the lemon and basil one as it just smelled like Fairy Liquid to me.

iamthedanger · 17/01/2020 11:31

Another vote for Korres...love all of them

ChipsRoastOrBoiled · 17/01/2020 11:32

I love all things orange scented or flavoured and I've never found anything I like more than the orange Radox one.

Jungfraujoch · 17/01/2020 13:28

Wow! So many lovely suggestions - thank you. I better get sniffing! X

I second the Rituals Cherry one. It is beautiful. I also love the L'Occitane cherry blossom. Divine. I look forward to getting a stash of both every Christmas.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 18/01/2020 00:51

I currently really like the Soaper Duper Shea Butter one. I was always a Korres fan until I had a really disgusting, feverish cold last year, and felt like it wasn’t getting me properly clean. I went right off it then, and I have two unopened bottles in the cupboard I must donate.

zeddybrek · 18/01/2020 00:57

Rituals Dao
Fresh lemon and sugar

Sakura7 · 18/01/2020 01:00

Rituals Sakura and Korres Almond Cherry are my current favourites. & Other Stories also do some gorgeous bath and body stuff - Havana Blues smells divine.

A good cheapie is Imperial Leather Cosmic Unicorn. Sounds ridiculous but it's lovely and smells like Armani Si perfume.

I do love a good soap though, Nesti Dante are fabulous.

EatenByDinosaurs · 18/01/2020 01:06

Ogx Coffee and Coconut is amazing, smells like caramel and has teeny pieces of coffee bean in so makes your skin glow from the gently exfoliation.

lotusbell · 18/01/2020 08:45

Fresh sugar lemon
Lush have loads
L'occitane Almond
Korres are all nice
Badedas is really strong and invigorating
Molton Brown are quite strong and long lasting scents.

beanaseireann · 18/01/2020 08:53

Where do you buy

beanaseireann · 18/01/2020 08:54

Oops posted too soon.
Where do you buy your Korres products ? It doesn't seem to be sold in Ireland.

ChicChicChicChiclana · 18/01/2020 08:58

Please please please consider switching to soap everyone! It's such a simple and painless way to reduce plastic consumption. There are some gorgeous ones out there.

SinglePringle · 18/01/2020 09:02

The Fine Soap Company triple milled Milk Soap. Just smells clean, no heavy scent and moisturising. Minimal packaging (and the box is recyclable) and lasts for ages.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 18/01/2020 09:02

4711 eau de cologne if you must. They do soap too.

Sarcelle · 18/01/2020 09:09

Rituals Shower Gel is the most luxurious texture

lotusbell · 18/01/2020 09:12

@Nottsangel2015, still available online! They only have three jellies at the moment and I miss Sweetie Pie but I've got 2 of the new shower gels and they are lovely - a bit slime like in texture but seem very moisurising.

TK Maxx had loads of it before Christmas. Haven't been in recently so not sure if it's still there, but worth a look if you have one near.

doublebarrellednurse · 18/01/2020 10:41

Molten Brown for ever and ever. Also L'Occitane rhubarb is a current fav.
