Catrice, the cheap as chips budget brand has just brought out the ball sponge type of concealer similar to Maybellines and (the far superior to Maybelline's ) Revlon's Youth FX concealer.
I haven't tried the Catrice yet myself. But I will soon.

I find the Rimmel lasting radiance concealer brilliant if you want to cover dark circles. Have tried a fair few, including high end ones, and I really rate it. Reviews seem to be good too

Ofthread · 24/01/2020 20:57

What can you do for puffy eyes?

Taddda · 25/01/2020 06:33

@Ofthread look for products containing caffeine- Laneige Eye sleeping mask is a good one-
MIL swears by one she bought off the shopping channel though! She says it has a sort of 'bee sting' effect (I think it's just called 'eyes/z'?? Or something similar?) - Anyway, she did a 'one on, one off' test to show me and it really did take out all of the lines/puffiness, noticed the difference immediately- lasts for about 12 hours apparently.
I like the eye mask personally (plus if you've got time, ice cold cucumber slices for half hour, cant beat it!)

Anyone know where to buy the Trish McEvoy eye lift in the UK? Only place I’ve seen it is liberty, and they’re out of stock.

Taddda · 26/01/2020 22:41

@tigerbear Selfridges

Ofthread · 26/01/2020 23:24

Thanks Tadda

Taddda · 26/01/2020 23:42

@Ofthread Welcome Smile There usually pretty well stocked. I've not used Trish McEvoy yet, is it any good?

Lucked · 26/01/2020 23:50

Too faced super coverage concealer blended in with a foundation brush.

tigerbear · 27/01/2020 20:57

Thanks @Taddda I’ll try to get to Selfridges this week.

Taddda · 27/01/2020 21:18

@tigerbear if you sign up to their 'plus' for £10 a year they do next day tracked delivery also- their end of season sales online are amazing!

Taddda · 27/01/2020 21:31

(Just noticed I got a bit mixed up with the 'thanks' from pp's! Welcome both Grin )

tigerbear · 27/01/2020 22:01

@Taddda I’m going to the store on Wednesday, as only live about 40 min away. So excited to try the TM stuff. Will report back on it!

Taddda · 27/01/2020 22:09

@tigerbear oh good stuff! I'd like to try the eye lift myself, I'm using 3 different ones atm, YSL (for light), Estee Lauder (for colour) and Clinique (for coverage), be great to find an 'all in one'!

tigerbear · 27/01/2020 22:27

@Taddda - let’s hope this is Holy Grail stuff!

mrslebon · 28/01/2020 15:17

OMG, just tried the Revlon Candid concealer. It's amazing! Can't believe I've spent all this money over the years on Armani, Estee Lauder, NARS, Clinique, Trish McEvoy, Clarins etc.. and little ol' Revlon do one for £5 (on offer in Sainsburys). I've used it today and yesterday and it doesn't budge and doesn't settle into my 48 year old fine lines. Think I've found my holy grail at last!

tigerbear · 28/01/2020 15:57

@Mrslebon - I was off to get the Trish M tomorrow, but might try the Revlon first as it’s so cheap in comparison!

mrslebon · 28/01/2020 16:07

Exactly @tigerbear - it's worth a punt! Just to be clear, I prefer a concealer that you pat on with a finger or brush and I quite like a matte finish. I don't like shiny concealers that are a thin consistency and spread all over the place (I'm looking at you Becca!). I would say this one is along similar lines to the Clarins Instant Concealer but the coverage and staying power is way better.

tigerbear · 28/01/2020 16:55

Good to know, thanks @Mrslebon
Will report back. I’ve just ordered it on Amazon
