Clarins instant concealer is amazing stuff. It brightens naturally and the tube lasts ages.

GetRid · 16/01/2020 21:15

I use Touche Éclat and it lasts me months

workffs · 16/01/2020 21:22

So many to give a try!!!

IpanemaGallina · 16/01/2020 21:28

I find that as soon as I apply any concealer around my eyes, it looks grey. I’ve tried so many but nothing works. I have olive skin and very dark brown skin around the eyes, it’s hereditary, always had dark rings.

Still looking for the holy grail of concealers.

Corneliawildthing · 16/01/2020 21:28

How are you supposed to use concealer? I've put a small amount under each eye, blended it in but it makes no difference. So I put on a larger amount and ended up having to blend it over half my face. Am I missing something as it doesn't make any difference to me at all Confused

Rachelfromfriends1 · 16/01/2020 21:32

@IpanemaGallina the undertone of your concealers might be an issue, try an olive undertone, or a warm undertone if you can’t find one. You could alternatively try an orange colour corrector then layer your concealer on top, it should neutralise your natural under eye colouring.

Rachelfromfriends1 · 16/01/2020 21:35

@Corneliawildthing I apply my foundation with a beauty blender first, then dot the concealer (in a lighter shade than my foundation) under my eye. I use a generous amount and blend with the same sponge. Then immediately set with a setting powder and brush (Laura Mercier translucent powder). Instant brightening.

Another vote for primark! Used benefit for years then thought I’d give primark a try and it’s so much better.

Zeldaaa · 16/01/2020 23:45

IpanemaGallina I have this problem too. I need to use a peachy corrector first and then apply concealer

StormBaby · 16/01/2020 23:47

Tarte Shape Tape is the best

Taddda · 16/01/2020 23:52

I've used YSL touche eclat for years but really tempted to try the Tarte shape tape, keep hearing its fab, is it really that good?

IpanemaGallina · 17/01/2020 09:11

Thanks racheal and Zelda. I’ll have a look at peachy correctors this weekend.

lenalove · 17/01/2020 16:35

Maybelline Age Rewind will always be a classic in my eyes!

stepitupjuan · 17/01/2020 16:41

The Aldi one. I used Touché for years but developed allergic reaction to it.

NotquitewhatImeant · 17/01/2020 19:48

I like the revlon eye primer too and their youth fix concealer. Nars I like but find a bit dry/cakey. Also really like By Terry Densillis concealer and Bobbi Brown corrector. Hated the becca one, such a disappointment!

beanaseireann · 17/01/2020 20:19

I think the Revlon Youth FX sponge ball applicator is a far better size for the under eye area then the more popular and heavily advertised Maybelline one.
The area is all so the sponge ball needs to fit🌟

beanaseireann · 17/01/2020 20:21

The area is small is what meant to say, so the sponge ball needs to be small too.

GivenchyDahhling · 17/01/2020 20:23

YSL touché eclat - I always go back to it. I recently tried the Fenty Beauty which is good but heavy duty. So I’ve gone back to YSL.

OxanaVorontsova · 17/01/2020 20:28

Clinique line smoothing - new to me but finding it good so far

justasking111 · 17/01/2020 20:32

I need eye drops for glaucoma the side effect is red eyelids and below the eye. YSL is good but I discovered this one which is amazing, just use as needed then blend in with foundation with an egg sponge.

Palavah · 17/01/2020 21:52

Boots No 7 one is a bit like touche éclat. L'Oréal do a similar one too.

Chrestomanciscat · 17/01/2020 22:17

Tarte shape tape - really good coverage and good value as you don't need much. I also use the Tarte undereye colour corrector underneath as I have very dark circles.

emma6776 · 18/01/2020 21:23

I find the Nars creamy concealer so dry and horrible. The Becca one is too gloopy and wet and highlights my circles. The best I’ve found are Estée Lauder doublewear concealer or Clinique all about eyes. I love Mac pro long wear but the bottle is crap and wastes so much product.

mrslebon · 20/01/2020 13:21

Agree that Becca is too wet! Goes all over the bloody place.

Delatron · 20/01/2020 20:14

Bourjois radiance one is amazing. It has hyaluronic acid in it so never sits in wrinkles.I've tried expensive ones such as By Terry, Laura Mercier, Becca etc but always come back to this. Gutted they are shutting the brand down. I went out and stocked up the other day.
