Is this dress nice?

I can't tell if it's super nice or really odd?? Do you like it?

Medium Monsoon is about 12-14. I don't really like it from the photo but saw it on the website and did quite like it on the model. I'm not the right shape for it but I'm sure it will look nice on you

The salmon pink pockets on the boobs were the first thing I saw

It's too busy for my tastes but I know of some people who could pull it off.

It's reminding me of a Boden dress but not done as well. The pink pockets are wrong and the pattern has good colours but too much of the salmon pink. And £70 for polyester, eek. I'd rather pay double and get silk.

I think it’s lovely. I’m far too short to wear it but it’s the sort of thing that usually looks lovely on taller people. I don’t think you need to be especially thin to pull it off as long as you’re relatively tall, which you are.

Holly Willoughby wearing similar.

It's really not similar to Holly's at all! Collar, buttons, patchwork design, material...if you mean it's got a belt and a few colour blocks...

The shirtwaist style doesn’t quite work with the blocks of colour. If the style had been very simple, it might have worked - as it is it’s a curious combination of ‘out there’ and ‘staid’. Per Una often does similar and I get a similar reaction. But if you really like it, go for it. Maybe try with a plain black jacket?

I think it could be one of those dresses that looks good on but not so good on the hanger. I reserve judgement until a photo of the OP in it is posted.

@Taddda yes I meant it's got colour blocks and a belt have a confused face back. Holly's is quite nice imo, the OP's not so much. Maybe if it's the colour block style that she likes she might find one that looks more wearable - like Holly's.

It needs to be worn by someone tall with strong colouring. There is a danger that the dress could wear the person rather than the person wearing the dress.

@Sally99 no need to say sorry We all like different things. Personally I wouldn't wear either of them. I think Holly's looks quite nice on her (just my opinion) but I wouldn't be seen dead in either of them personally, not my style. If OP likes it though what does it really matter what anyone else thinks?
