me and my daughter disagree!!

If she likes them, she likes them. There's a lot of stuff at the moment that would either be chosen by a 16 year old or a 60 year old.

On the plus side they have a sensible sized heel & toe shape which I certainly didn't pay attention to at 16.

I love them, and would buy a pair myself. But then I am 'ancient' Goth mum according to my kids...aka the 'wrong' side of 40 with an unhealthy interest in alternative music and black clothing. I think they would look great with some of the new trends I have seen in the shops this week. There are lots of long skirts and high neck blouses on the rails now...Victorian like.

I quite like them. I went thru an alternative phase at college and had something similar.

Meh, I like them! It depends on the style, on someone a bit alternative or into some of the japanese kawaii fashions then they'd look fab, especially at 16. Good for her for liking something less ubiquitous- I'd get her them and let her explore her sense of style herself, rather than spoil it for her.

I'm pretty sure Irisruby is a scam Chinese supplier. Such sites repost gorgeous clothes they have found on the net, but if you order you get tat.

You could reverse search the image of the boots, you might find where they actually originate.

I have an old photo in one of my albums. it was of a female family member, wearing boots very much like those, the photo was taken in 1898 !, They do say,that fashions come round and round again !

I REALLY like them but then I do at times go for the eccentric vibe with a slightly steam punk look at times amongst other more way out looks!😉🤣

Clothes and chores are all about how you wear them and what with, not in isolation so if you wear them with the right outfit theyd be amazing.
