Me too. I’d use everything in it. Love that it’s got loads of skincare!

I got my niece to order a beauty calendar for my sister as she lives in Germany and after she ordered it she warned me it might be delayed!

Beauty Advent Calendars 2019 - the sequel!
ajandjjmum · 27/11/2019 10:18

I've bought several calendars are Christmas presents - one for both DD and DS and another for a 25 year old friend, who I never know what to buy for. That's not odd is it?

LEELULUMPKIN · 27/11/2019 11:03

Not at all a&j's mum! You can introduce them to the new tradition of "Jadvent!"

Bansku19 · 27/11/2019 11:20

I am curious to see if JL or Debenhams calendars come down with price on Black Friday. Not that I would buy one. Just general curiosity.

I8toys · 27/11/2019 12:42

I've just ordered the Grazia calendar as I've won my weigh in at work for the month!! Now have the M&S, Debenhams and now Grazie. Thanks to whoever posted!!

ruthieness · 27/11/2019 13:29

Boots have reduced the Lancôme and Glamour calendars by 15% but the £10 offer has gone.

SunshineCake · 27/11/2019 13:35

I went to Morrison's today to get the Nivea one but couldn't find it.

ruthieness · 27/11/2019 13:40

Debenhams calendar half price - £45 - with other purchase.

LEELULUMPKIN · 27/11/2019 18:15

The Mankind Christmas collection box is now 30% off at £70. 12 full sized grooming products. Valued over £370.

Use code COLLECTION30

Also, if you go through topcashback there is a further 13% for new customers - 8% for existing.

That means the box would be £60:90 or £64:40 plus free delivery.

Doubleraspberry · 27/11/2019 19:03

My friend sobbed all over me today about her abusive husband (who she is trying to leave) and I would love to get her an advent calendar to make her feel loved. Obviously I’ve made this decision JUST AFTER all the good deals made most calendars sell out. LiB won’t deliver to where I live or Grazia would clearly be perfect.

What else out there is still in stock and under £50? Anything? My local M&S sold out THIS MORNING so I was about two hours too late.

FadingStar · 27/11/2019 19:07

Double your poor friend!! I think L'Occitane and Rituals might have their cheaper calendars still for sale. Also the Arran calendar looks gorgeous.

SouthWestmom · 27/11/2019 19:22

The Macmillan one is nice (try boots or amazon)

I'm playing chicken with LiB and hoping to get the Grazia one cheaper on Friday. Dh got me the Clarins one so...and I know my mum has got one for me.

SouthWestmom · 27/11/2019 19:24

Just checked and it's out of stock

Doubleraspberry · 27/11/2019 19:26

She’s a make up fiend so L’Occitane might be a bit too hand creamy. And the Macmillan one is nice (saw it in Boots) but doesn’t have the luxurious feeling I’d love to give her.

I’ve still got my beautiful Look Fantastic box from a couple of years ago (the one with drawers and a mirror on top) and loads of minis from my subscription boxes that have never been opened. Would it be silly to try to put one together myself instead?

FadingStar · 27/11/2019 19:31

That's a brilliant idea....definitely do that! She will love that you took time it put one together for her.

FadingStar · 27/11/2019 19:36

There's 25% off the Beauty Expert calendar with the code DAYS25. Makes it £75 and worth £480. It's the amazing 12 day box with the full sizes.

SunshineCake · 27/11/2019 19:42

@Bansku19 your post has reminded me I used to love the Body Shop banana shampoo.

I'm having no luck at finding any calendars in the shops apart from the M and S one I bought a few weeks ago.

plightofthealbatross · 27/11/2019 19:42

Finally decided to cave and order the Grazia calendar via the cashback site ... and it's out of stock. Trying to remind myself that's a good thing.

CottonHeadedNinyMuggins · 27/11/2019 19:47

Glossybox are doing a special Black Friday box for £10 (for subscribers) and £15 for non subscribers. Launches at midnight Friday for subscribers and 7am for non subscribers.

LEELULUMPKIN · 27/11/2019 19:57

Hi DoubleRaspberry! What about the Debenham's one? It is currently just £45 with any purchase. I put a lip liner in for £3:20 and it knocked £45 off!

Also use topcashback and you will get 5% cash back which takes the calendar to £42.75!

I bet your friend would love it!

Butterymuffin · 27/11/2019 20:29

I am tempted now to get the Debenhams one as a second Jadvent calendar... someone stop me!

I'm currently subscribed to Glossybox so I'm going to hit the site at midnight Thursday/Friday and try to get a Black Friday box. For £10 it's got to be worth a go!

Writersblock2 · 27/11/2019 20:39

Tell me that I’d hate myself if I got the Debenhams one. Yes.

OP posts:
Doubleraspberry · 27/11/2019 20:43

That’s a bargain for Debenhams.

I did my own and found so many lovely untouched things. I ended up putting multiple stuff in most of the boxes, especially in 25, which I seem to remember originally had a naff washbag, and now has a stash of Molton Brown lotions and nice make up!

LEELULUMPKIN · 27/11/2019 21:00

Writer's - I'd hate you! (I haven't got it) Does that count? :)
