I ordered four mystery boxes...giving two away and keeping two. Lee thanks so much for the code for mankind. I ordered the Christmas collection for DH. Can't believe how fantastic it sounds

Lee I would go for LookFantastic. I have subscribed to both them and BB and I was just getting fed up with BB so eventually cancelled. LF always had decent products and decent sizes but BB was just tiny samples imo.

I treated myself to the more expensive of the two l'occitane ones with 20% off. I've had the less expensive one before and loved it although never manage to use everything

Ooh @Tetraread where was the Lego calendar for a fiver? I know someone who'd be interested.

Hi Keith! Glad to be of service re: The Mankind CC. If it is anywhere near as good as the advent calendar, which I managed to bag before it sold out, it should be well worth the money. As you know, one product alone retails for £99! Insane.

Thanks for the advice about LF too. I am sorely tempted as I have the advent calendar for me (first time) and although not opened any of it yet, I am very impressed with the box and weight of it!

I have to draw the line somewhere though as I am off to Boston USA in a week Christmas shopping so have to draw the line somewhere! :)

Bloody hell, I managed to be restrained and didnt order any advent calendars. However in the last 3 days I've signed up for Birchbox with the two boxes for £5 and then glossybox with the first box for £5 and a mystery mix for £5. Should I cancel the birchbox now it's gone through? I cant really justify keeping two subs can I? But then what if i cancel and the Dec one is really good. All the dilemmas over here

I had a look at the sold out Mankind advent calendar to see what I was missing...WOW! I had no idea that even existed otherwise I would have bought it for DH - what a bargain. I'm not surprised your DH loves it Lee. That was a brilliant buy. Thanks so ,ugh for the Christmas collection code. DH will be thrilled.

Same here, Fatima! I've joined BB for the two boxes for £5 but I am going to wait and get the Dec box, then make a decision based on the 3 boxes.

I also have ended up with 6 of the Glossybox £5 mystery boxes, without a subscription as I couldn't justify having 4 advent calendars and 2 subscriptions.

The Glossyboxes are gifts, not for me.

I think I'll do the same @LEELULUMPKIN and cancel after the December box. I can always regift bits I don't want.

The Mankind AC was a first for me and as I said upthread, bought it totally blind as there are no spoilers or unboxings anywhere, so it was a real leap of faith.

So, so glad I went for it as the box is HUGE and VERY heavy. I can honestly say that he will use every single product and couldn't be happier with it. I also got 15% Topcashback off it.

Shame you missed out this yr but now you are a customer you should get notifications for next year. Existing customers can pre-order it, which is what I did. As you can imagine when it when live to the general public it sold out straight away.

It's brilliant Lee thanks so much for the heads up - will definitely get it for DH next year! He will love the Christmas collection though...he has actually just started to become interested in grooming at the grand age of 35!!

Agree re Birch box being really tiny samples, have cancelled mine. Look Fantastic much better. Plus you get 6 products a month with LF and a magazine and only 5 with BB.

The LIB boxes that I ordered for gifts came this morning. Really pleased with them and wish I had ordered one for myself now!

Well I have just got all my calendars out on the bed. Think I am going to need a bigger mantlepiece!

I just spent mine on a 1 month Look Fantastic sub for December. It's only cost £5 of 'real' money. Well worth it for a third of the usual price.

My birchbox boxes just arrived ... great value for the £5 special plus £2.95 shipping. Frozen and a box from last summer apparently. Really pleased with them ... going to see what December's is like before I make a decision re carrying on.

Ooh! I hope I get the same plight - is the stuff in the summer box good for holidays? I am going long haul in March and that is why I have been trying to make more of an effort with my beauty routine, that and turning 50 in 4 months!

My grazia came today, the box quality is nowhere near as good as the M&S or birchbox but I'm sure the contents will be good. Saving it for janvent

I got bored of Birchbox and Glossybox although some of the special deals are with it. I recently subscribed to FabFitFun and love it. All full size and you can choose most of the items.

My Grazia is at the post office - hubby forgot to grab it when he was in town so I will have to wait until Monday. Anyone started a Grazia thread yet? I’ll nudge the ones I started later on tonight (M&S, Glossybox, H&B, Look Fantastic).

Has anyone subbed to Glossybox to get their Xmas box? Really tempted!
