How many bras do you own?

And for that matter, how many pairs of pants and socks?

I have a massive underwear drawer with about 20 bras, about 50 pairs of pants and 40 odd pairs of socks. I don’t like most of my underwear so I’m planning a refresh, but I have no idea what a good amount to own is. Throwing the question out to find out where I should aim!

I find I tend to let the laundry mount up and I feel like maybe having too much underwear might be part of the reason why?

I have 3 and a sports bra.

I can’t think why I would need any more than that.

Personally, I'd consider myself a minimalist. I only own 2 bras!!

Everyone clearly has masses more storage space than me!!

5 bras in use here for big knockers. 2 nude, 2 black and 1 prettier. Only really replace when underwire gives up. Put on a bit of weight, but kept old bras in smaller sizes for ages. Then thought bugger it, if I lose weight again boobs will probably end up different size so would need to buy new ones anyway. Posted mine to charity called smalls for all. They will then pass them on to those who need them.

I wish matching knickers were cotton! I love matching sets but hate the feel of the knickers, even silk ones.

About 15 nude, black white. Only 1 blue & I never wear it ( it is pretty though).
I do have about 8-10 sports bras as I work in a fitness environment.

I have three bras, one white one black and one pretty one. I would like more but I do an annual trip to Bravissimo and buying three is budget stretching. I have big boobs and find I need to spend more to get a proper fit. Probably have 20 pairs of pants and socks plus a huge drawer full of tights!

Two everyday bras, one fancier plunge bra to wear with eveningy-type clothes. About 10 pairs of knickers. No socks. I wear opaques in autumn/winter/spring and bare legs in the summer. If I need socks to wear with wellies or whatever I nick a pair of DH's.

1. 2 black, 1 nude and 1 pale blue. Plain sturdy t shirt bras. Pants are about 12 pairs of plain seam free full briefs in black, nude and pale blue. Bras and knickers NEVER match though!

Six, underwired, in good condition. Plus 3 older ones as backup. A couple of sports, but not the right size, and 4 non wired, not right size, just for sleeping/house.

Good ones:
2 bigger cup in pink and nude for premenstrual breasts.
Other 4 in different shapes, including a strapless

I need more pants.

2 bras - Black and white
1 sports bra (rarely used as lazy)
10 x pants
5 x socks

No money or desire for more... Plus environment

Allowing for those in the wash at any one time, I don’t understand how some people manage with so few bras and knickers. I wash after every wear (upbringing: mum always taught if it goes next to your skin, it goes in the wash!) and with knix I usually change at least twice a day.

I have a shower before and after work (sometimes a bath after work) so, unless it’s a very warm day when I don’t usually bother , it’s clean knix twice a day.

3 bras that fit but are disintegrating and 4 that are too uncomfortable to wear.
About 10 pairs of pants and about 7 pairs of socks.

I've six fancy (lacy) bras, a couple of tee shirt style and at least half a dozen sports bras. I've never thought to count my knickers. Loads.

If top and bottom ever match, it's coincidence. Unless exercising, I wear what looks best under my outer clothes. Sometimes that's neither.

I have 4.
1 caters for specific outfits such as halter neck, strapless, one side strap ...etc

The other 3 are everyday bras (wired, non padded lace dark plum, nude and pink) but they are not padded which makes them sexy so I don't need any additional lingerie for "flirting with my husband" :)
