What is ONE beauty/skincare item that has literally changed your life?

I’m in a bit of a makeup and skincare rut and I think I need fewer items that are holy grails

What is one item that has changed your life? It can be makeup or skincare!

Facial oils during the day and retinols at night!

I also wanted to say retinol (at night. Obviously requires sunscreen during the day). I currently unfortunately can't use it but it really is brilliant...

My perfect day time moisturiser maybe? Helped by a few drops of squalane or rosehip oil in winter.

Ah. No.
Retinol (plus sunscreen) and regular lip masks. Keep my lips from getting these unsightly patches of dry skin.... => lipstick actually looks nice.

Lidl Q10 serum

Another one saying retinol! I saw a massive difference in my skin in just a couple of months of starting it.

LIHA ose gidi soap, I've used a lot of expensive cleansers and none have compared to this. It dries out spots overnight, and has smoothed out the bumps on my skin, obliterated the sebeceous filaments on my nose and lessened the appearance of the rosacea on my cheeks massively. Plus it has lasted months and that's with DP using it as body soap too, and two bars only cost £12.

Any basic cold pressed rosehip oil is amazing too, especially in winter.

The Ordinary rosehip oil, my skin feels smoother and the redness reduced.

Vaseline around my eyes and neck overnight. LOVE IT!

What lip masks does anyone use? Is it a scrub!?

Vit C serum.

Retinol here as well. My skin looks the best it has in 10 years.

L'Oréal revitalift day cream with spf30. Used it for more than 10 years and have no lines or wrinkles despite being over 40 and knackered most of the time! It's just perfect for my very sensitive skin and doesn't break the bank either.

Switching to a creamy cleanser and removing it with a warm flannel.

I use the bite beauty overnight lip mask - get it via eBay as Sephora no longer ship to the uk. The jouer one gets good reviews too

Retinol and the ordinary peeling solution mask!

Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Under-eye corrector before concealer, I've got very dark under-eyes and this really helps.

The Ordinary Retinol here too.

Tidypidy Another Revitalift fan here. It’s the only product I’ve used consistently over a long period and my skin’s in pretty good shape.

Washing my face with a flannel and hot water only. My skin has never been clearer!

I have recently discovered what appears to be an old classic, Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules. I apply the oil at night, it's done wonders for my 40 year old skin. (Horse owner who never wears spf, so pretty wrinkly for a 40 yr old!)
