Had my hair cut this morning.... was the most I have ever paid.

How much do you usually spend so I can see whether what I paid today is average!!

harleyd · 14/08/2007 11:26

lol unquietdad - dh moans his costs £6.50

WelshBoris · 14/08/2007 11:26

And that's expensive for my area, not the poncey salons obviously

lucykate · 14/08/2007 11:27

colour, done at home, costs £4 approx

dry cut at hairdressers, once every 2 months £13.50

GreatAuntieWurly · 14/08/2007 11:29

about £10, I dont like the way my hairdresser dries my hair so just tend to have dry cut then come home and do the rest myself.

cerys · 14/08/2007 11:29

Happy birthday JARM, enjoy your lovely hair!

WelshBoris (glad to see your old name back, BTW), which salon is that?

Quootiepie · 14/08/2007 11:31

£45, £50 if I get a treatment thing - but I get it done once in a blue moon.

purpleflower · 14/08/2007 11:32

I pay £5! Its mates rate on an already cheap but brilliant mobile hairdresser

IntergalacticWalrus · 14/08/2007 11:33

I get DP to cut mine

I'm desperate for a new hair do, but too scared [poof]

WelshBoris · 14/08/2007 11:46

Hey Cerys, it's in my area, near the bus stop in Mount Pleasant. Lovely, friendly non-bitchy staff. Always give a great cut and colour. It's actually £35 but I tip

Rubbish weather today isn't it?

arfishy · 14/08/2007 11:50

Why am I not finding these places? I'm being charged an arm and a leg for my highlights. The one place that did the job for $99 (about GBP45) was run by a crack-head stripping junkie (as I found out as I was trapped underneath the special light/heat thing). Scared off by this experience I'm back with another place that charges $320. [mug alert]
