JARM · 14/08/2007 11:18

Had my hair cut this morning.... was the most I have ever paid.

How much do you usually spend so I can see whether what I paid today is average!!

(Fab haircut by the way, long overdue and now feel fab!)

£35ish for wash, cut and blow dry
£25ish for wash, cut and run (never blow dry it myself anyway)

scienceteacher · 14/08/2007 11:55

Mine is about £100 for cut and foils

OhNo40 · 14/08/2007 12:06

£20 for wet cut. Rarely pay for blow dry but he won't let me out with wet hair so dries it anyway. I think if I ask (& pay for) blow dry he spends more time & effort but even if he's "just drying it off" it looks much better than when I do it.

About £35 for cut and blow dry. About £45 for semi-pernmanent all-over colour (not high/lowlights).

REIDmylips · 14/08/2007 12:11

£38 for wash, treatment, cut, dry, straighten. I love going to hairdressers!! Getting mine done tomorrow. yey!

OhNo40 · 14/08/2007 12:13

Found my role in life - as a chav. Do I still get to wear all the Burberry bits like they did a few years ago? Must invest in a Burberry buggy for mini-me DD!

thehairybabysmum · 14/08/2007 12:16

£37 for cut and blow dry...about £80 if i have colour done. She does do hairybaby for free though whilst i get shampooed and has been doing since he was 6 months old!!

I did ask her when do i start paying for HB but she said she loves doing him and besides im a good customer (think this means i obviously spend a fortune there as go regular!)

RGPargy · 14/08/2007 12:18

£34 for C&BD. Normally around £60-£70 if i have it coloured too.

scorpio1 · 14/08/2007 12:19

Colour, foils, cut, blow-dry & straighten about £100.

£53 for a cut and blow dry. I have really hard to control hair so unfortunately need to have it done every 6 or 7 weeks. I did go elsewhere about a year ago and paid £25 but it was so crap I needed three proper cuts before it recovered

bran · 14/08/2007 12:42

Last cut and colour was £105, but I am a bit hairdresser phobic and this particular hairdresser is a very soothing total experience. (Recommended to me by a MNetter as well. )

£23 for cut and blow dry

£65 for colour, cut and blow dry.....

PandaG · 14/08/2007 12:51

£25 wash, cut and blow, with great head and neck massage and a long consultation first.

Blackduck · 14/08/2007 12:52

£11 - wet cut (HATE having my hair washed by anyone else....), no blow dry (is dry by the time s/he has finished).

TigerFeet · 14/08/2007 13:28

Mate is a trained hairdresser and cuts my hair and dd's for a fiver. £15 if highlights included.

Pushed the boat out whilst she was on holiday and spent £10.50 at dh's barbers (lovely man who does womens hair too) and had all the length lopped off and scary things done with interestingly shaped scissors.

Looks fab, well worth a tenner!

Colour it myself, need to get mate to sort out highlights as am looking a tad drab.

MuffinMclay · 14/08/2007 13:29

£40-50, cut and blow dry (exact amount depends on which 'stylist' - hate that word - cuts it).

Still looks crap by the next day.

Surfermum · 14/08/2007 13:31

£25 ish for a cut and blow dry, but I usually go for a dry cut as it's short and that's £12.

Gobbledigook · 14/08/2007 13:37

£40 last time for wash, cut and blow dry. It was actually only a trim so it's a right rip off really.
