Are SNAG tights worth purchasing?

Ive spent the last 3 winters in black leggings and dresses.

Am bored of being so boring.

Am a size 16/18 with large mum tum.

Have 5 pairs of bright coloured tights in my basket but 30 quid seems like a lot when I've been wearing £3 leggings for so long 😂

Are they worth it?

Wondering what colours I could really get away with ...

Reading this thread with interest and relief as I have had three pairs delivered today!

I don’t know if mine were from a bad batch but I bought about 5 pairs based on the last thread about them on here and 4 of those pairs laddered on the first wear.

They are 80 denier. I love the Slate colour as well, it goes with everything ♥️

They definitely don’t ladder easily because I’ve caught them a few times on my wooden table and they’ve been very forgiving.

Bright colours are definitely less wearable and do make legs look more chunky 🥴. When I order again I’m getting more black, two pairs of slate and a navy.

I bought some last year as I find it really hard to get the lovely bright colours I like. Snag have such lovely colours.

I have found they wear well and fit nicely.

They do roll around the waist. And The sheers are not the best. But the 80 denier ones are good and not as opaque as I feared. I prefer a not-totally-opaque look and these are good.

I'm so into this tights thread! If you get static with any tights or even bare legs, you need to moisturise your legs and that sorts it out. The Manzi tights have a cotton gusset. Oh I love them so much!

Yes, Only buy Snag high denier.

I lived in the snag chub rub shorts over summer and they were amazing, completely freed up my summer wardrobe!
I’ve just ordered three pairs of snag tights for the autumn / winter months ahead!

What size might work for someone size 18 and 5 foot 1?

DM has bought me nice opaque and wool tights every Xmas for many, many years, wonder if she’d like some snag ones.

An issue is that she’s disabled and struggles with tights with feet, perhaps there are some footless ones.

Manzi tights are better than snag for me as the body part is reinforced. They don't roll down and don't move. They are also made of a much softer yarn than cheaper tights.

I'm wearing my Snag tights for the first time today and can confirm they are very comfortable.

Another one saying yes to Snag tights! Customer service is great as well - I ordered some chub rub shorts and they sent tights in error. One quick email and my shorts were in the post and they told me to keep the tights.
Also agree with pp - chub rub shorts have been amazing for me this summer.

Snag ones are the only ones that stay up for me. I was wearing the Evans footless ones before that and they kept sliding down even with a second pair of knickers.

I ordered my first pair of Snag tights last week and they arrived at the weekend. They were so comfy and fit so well that I've ordered four more pairs. They are a bit looser than tights usually are but don't slip down or roll at the waist and they are super soft.

Anyone who thinks black opaques are over clearly hasn’t seen the Chanel catwalk this week. They’re all over it.

My snag tights are the first tights I've ever worn that dont end up with the gusset down by my knees. I'm a size 20 and 5ft10 and the size guide recommends a G but I find them a little long in the leg (my height is in my torso) so I bought some F and they're perfect.

Oh! Some days I am so slow on the uptake! 😂🙄
