I'd like to buy a stylish cross-body bag for my sister for her 40th. Handbag size rather than big work bag.

Could be classic black or tan, or something more colourful and interesting - but want it to be stylish as she's a stylish person!

Yes you do take a chance with a personalized item, it did look nice thoug.

Very true, when my d was born I was given two beautiful personalised gifts for her , both with her name spelt wrong (they were both different spellings in each item too!) it’s not a terribly unusual name.
