Hi all,

My cousin's son is getting married in a few weeks and I'm thinking on wearing this dress from chicwish in cream.

I would dress it down with a non fussy bag and neutral sandals.

FYI the bride is v glamorous, big personality & 20 years my junior.

What do you think?

I agree no. I don't think it screams traditional bridal but I have a "hippy boho" friend who wore something similar to get married in. She looked beautiful and totally pulled it off as a wedding dress.

You could buy it and dye it a different colour. But no way could you wear it as is.

It's ruddy ugly that if you turned up at my wedding wearing a Fergie I'd find it amusing.

sunshineskys · 28/08/2019 23:28

Definitely not! But if you love it, get the skirt and wear with a bright coloured top.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 28/08/2019 23:30

You shouldn’t wear that dress ever. No-one should.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. How about this instead?

With a veil?
Yes definitely go for it and bridal shoes would work well too.

I think that's a pretty unanimous yes!! It's a lovely dress though just not for this occasion.
