Hollywood wax

Hi

So I got my first Hollywood wax today and I am very disappointed.. I was under the impression they remove everything as in even them annoying hairs inside that are hard to shave and around the bum

She asked if I wanted the under bit done too and I said yes..

I didn’t say anything at the time as I’m not one to complain and didn’t realise how bad it was till I got home but she hasn’t got rid of the hair around the bum sorry for the info lol or the little annoying hairs on the inside. My friend said her waxer literally gets rid of everywhere and gets her to get in position so she can get in awkward Spots.

She didn’t get me to move in any positions other than when she did the bum and I was on my front.

The top bit the triangle is the only way I can describe it is stubbly and feels like it does when I shave it!

Is this normal ? I assumed it would have no hair left and be smooth all over I’m very disappointed to say the least

I’d recommend my waxer but she’s in north Kent and a Hollywood is £36. She ONLY uses hot wax for intimate waxing and I definitely have EVERYTHING off with no pain, just a little discomfort on the really “intimate” bits IYSWIM.

@Lau247 I can totally recommend Mihaela at Strip Wax Bar in One New Change in the City. She is the best I’ve encountered, ever (but expensive) and also the least painful.

Thanks for all the recommendations everyone! I’m much happier today I went back to the salon as I complained and someone else did it for me free of charge.

She was lovely and did a proper job got every hair went in with the tweezers aswell and checking under the light to make sure. She seemed shocked when she saw my bum lol and asked it the previous girl even asked me to hold open my cheeks.

Bit of stubble on the pubic bit that she tried to tweeze but couldn’t get as to short and was broken off by previous girl but she said it will improve the more I wax.

Have re booked her in 5 weeks!

OP, YANBU to be disappointed. She should have done the inside and left you totally smooth without a single hair. Mine does that and it also doesn't hurt apart from that one piece at the top (at the top of the vulva pointing towards the belly button).

Try somewhere else next time, I hope a local MN-er can recommend.

@BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou - can you let me know who you go to in north Kent please?

DreamingofSunshine · 18/08/2019 06:44

@Nonotmenori please can you give me the name? F Park is easy enough for me to get to and I'm desperate for a decent wax.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 18/08/2019 10:00

@HostessTrolley I’ve PMd you.

Nonotmenori · 19/08/2019 13:14

Hi @DreamingofSunshine the place is Aquarius Beauty and Yvonne is the lady. It's literally 30 seconds walk from the tube station and opposite the 12 pins.

DreamingofSunshine · 19/08/2019 14:11

@Nonotmenori thanks so much!

criticalthinking · 19/08/2019 14:14

Coke - I am the same, in Belfast and would love to know where you go!

cokezerothehero · 20/08/2019 17:41

@criticalthinking

Colette at Jason Shankey, N'ards Road

£30 for everything - or you can put "waxing" into Groupon and she'll come up

EdWinchester · 20/08/2019 19:02

I’m not surprised you were disappointed. My beautician removes every single hair. She’s brilliant and only charges £22.

Make sure you go to someone who uses hot wax, not strip.
