Do you get free postage with your 'friends' never? I have one postage label , so am hanging on until the last min to send back , as I have some more sale stuff not arrived yet.. Japanese trousers in a smaller size ( the ones i had were huge on me but I loved them also )..Also the twill trousers in smaller and the paisley dress as you know

But from now on ill do a not.. if I want to order from them.. I am rather tempted but those 'aubergine pasty' shoes , and I also love these sandals

Laska2Meryls · 25/07/2019 09:09

oh cross post .. I want to be a Toast Friend!!.. I think I have earned it in the last few weeks.. I might email them with a cheeky request ! Smile

Laska2Meryls · 25/07/2019 09:17

I have done! ..told them how lovely they were and that Id love to buy more from them ( cheeky eh? but fingers crossed ! )

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 09:22

I think you should! Although it may be to do with being an old customer. I used to buy a lot from toast and then stopped. They basically bribed me back making me a friend( I dont know if they call it that but i can find out later for you) with free postage and the odd 15% off. They were meant to send me the odd gift. I havent ever had anything!

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 09:23

Good for you laska!

ilovecherries · 25/07/2019 10:40

The red diamond dress popped up in a 12 a minute ago, so I nabbed it. I’m paying via PayPal so I can claim the return postage, and given it was only £2 more for express delivery, I stumped up for that as well. I’m really a bit pissed off that stuff I ordered last Friday still hasn’t even been dispatched tbh. I get sale times are busy, but they are hardly a surprise. Anyway, hope the dress will be a keeper, though it may be a bit exposed for me. I think I would have preferred the black, but took the opportunity while it was there.

I know I’m supposed to be on the Hushista diet group sharing juicing recipes, but right now I am drinking a lovely, summery Prosecco cocktail (In the middle of winter) and thought I’d share with my friends. It’s vodka, (or gin if you prefer) shaken with limoncello, lemon juice, elderflower liqueur and fresh basil and ice, strained into a flute and topped with icy, cold Prosecco. It’s AMAZING!!! (It’s called the Elizabeth Bennett in the wee cocktail place I am in and the romantic, literary bar tender has biceps bigger than my head. *Not that I’ve noticed, of course....)

Laska2Meryls · 25/07/2019 11:44

How does claiming the return postage work cherries Ive seen it, but cant seem to find how to do it on my Paypal account,

ilovecherries · 25/07/2019 14:11

If you open up the actual transaction, laska, rather than just the summary page, it’s an option down near the bottom. You have to upload a pic of the PoP and I’ve found it takes 2/3 days to come through. You can only claim 12 times a year, so I don’t squander it on small, light parcels but the toast stuff, for example, is so expensive that if you want to cover the value you need to use special delivery, so it’s great for that. I’ve never had a claim rejected.

Here are the Hush olive Chamonix that were on the JL website and withdrawn. They are lovely, but sadly are going back, I got the 12 and my navy ones are 10 ( and they havehave stretched because of the fabric) these fit quite loosely now on the waistand are abit baggy in the bum.. Hopefully it won't be long before they are launched properly. I will definitely get them in the smaller size.

Going by the others I am sure that an hour sitting in them and they will be really loose. Annoying that I didn't look at the size of the old ones before ordering.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 14:32

They look really nice @Laska. Its a shame that they are too big but on a plus its less money to put out. What did you end up keeping?
My earrings [ the actual ones I ordered arrived] they are gorgeous. I have the diamond dress and the line mila dress [like the pinwheel] but are lying there because I cant be bothered!

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 14:33

I had a very broken sleep last night and I now feeling quite tired.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 14:40

Well just tried on the diamond dress and its ridiculously tight over my bust so its going back. Quite glad as I really thought I might like it. Its also a bit poofy and didn't hang right on me at the bottom so that is that. Bare in mind though @cherries, that I ordered a 10 as reviews said it was enormous! Well clearly not on me!!

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 14:40

I will look with interest when you get the red one in a 12 but NO more ordering for me!

Laska2Meryls · 25/07/2019 14:42

Pretty much everythingnever .Blush. going back will be the M&S skirt ( I know so cheap, but I would have never liked it as much as the Toast one) apart from that all that is going back is some Japanese trousers ( huge, but I have ordered small as I love them) and the Twill trousers as I have them coming in a 12..
I have also swiped a green paisley dress in 14 this morning, encouraged byCherries pointing out the PayPal return shipping thing.. which I have worked out now.
So yes it was £££.. (heatwave madness I think)

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 14:51

Well tried the mila in the stripe and its really nice. [Like pinwheel] and its only £50 so a bit of a bargain. Now the dilemma. Paisley or stripe!

Laska2Meryls · 25/07/2019 14:55

We need a photo to compare Never

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 14:56

SoyYo · 25/07/2019 15:00

All the Toast purchases are superb (well those posted) and like the deep olive green in the Hush trousers laska now you know for the future and useful reference for sizing.

I’m melting here and still working but will finish early to get ready to go to rock festival for the evening.

justi your cocktail sounds delicious so cheers 🥂 and the attached pic made me think of you in Aussieland

nink yeay so pleased you bagged the handbag (pardon the pun) at a bargain price

We had some rain!! Short heavy shower on my almost dry washing.. Angry
Its looking like more, I had better get the sheets in.( Not at work today due to dodgy tum , but def feeling abit better now)

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 15:29

Its hot here but we have a lovely warm breeze which is nice.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 15:30

Love the picture @soyo!

ilovecherries · 25/07/2019 15:32

Probably no chance of the 12 fitting me then, never! I’ve just been looking at the Ikat dress before I package it back up. There really is no comparison between Toast and places like Hush/white stuff etc. The finish is flawless, generous hems and seam allowance etc. It’s the same quality clothing as my mum used to make (she was a self employed ladies tailor). Can’t do it any more her arthritis is so bad, but Toast really is excellent for semi-mass production rather than one-offs made to measure.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/07/2019 15:36

I don't know @cherries. I think the 12 should be fine on you. I think it would have been fine on me. I agree with you about quality. Totally like the quality from years ago.
I wore my M&S skirt [navy button through] with my hush paisley top today. My mum really liked it. She said it looked lovely :)
