Vol85 was far too slow and hopefully a shiny new thread will get us all excited again.

Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

Lovely purchases Queen. There is so much I love from Hush at the moment and they have 10% off so I'm very tempted to splurge but have probably spent more than I should lately.

kittyhello · 27/05/2019 13:37

Great purchases Queen, from afar, well my dodgy eyesight, thought the dress had 2 cut out bits at the front and thought it was a bit risqué for Hush. On zooming I noticed it was the sunglasses Grin

I'm in need of more summer purchases, dresses and cover ups. Will take a look at Hush.

Blingysolightly · 27/05/2019 15:13

I made the same mistake Kitty!Grin Love the links.

Today's holiday outfit is this playsuit from Accessorize which I am wearing with my pale blue castaner espadrilles. The playsuit was a last minute buy a few days ago and i really like it.

Hope you're all having a nice day!

QueenCerise · 27/05/2019 15:34

Ha ha kitty
viva like you with loads of shit going on I’m ordering too much too. There’s an order from other stories I’m contemplating. I went into town yesterday to try things on but they didn’t have what I wanted.

I’m spending the day packing for going away. All that’s needed is waterproofs!!

Mara I wore grey linen flowery palazzo pants with a navy s/s t & silver Gigi's - simple but must have been effective as received a couple of nice comments!

That Coach bag is so you Queen & like the Hush top & dress. Hope all is ok? Are you coming to the MU? Not seen you for ages.

Viva nice purchases too and a decent bargain to boot. The cotton jumper is a gorgeous colour. Hope you're coping with everything.

Does anyone use Endource? (not used this site for ages) when I click on item to order it takes me to the shop website instead of adding to my basket - maybe I've missed a memo Hmm

Blingy I cant open your play suit link but I expect you to be looking super cool and, well, blingy as per!

Shop hows df?

FedupNagging · 27/05/2019 17:16

Anyone need a beach bag?

FedupNagging · 27/05/2019 17:16

maradesbois · 29/05/2019 11:49

Fedup your links killed the thread! I like the espadrilles but would probably only buy plain ones.

Cold today, ootd is navy/white striped Arket tee with pale blue jeans, white Chloé flats and marant linen blazer. Bag is black apc half moon.

FedupNagging · 29/05/2019 12:52

I know Mara Blush.

Your outfit sounds v french chic. Chilly here too but couldn't face jeans/skinnies so wearing wide leg grey trousers, j crew jewelled Breton, supergas and jigsaw coatigan.

Went to the Dior exhibition last week and greatly enjoyed it. Some absolutely gorgeous dresses-amazing craftsmanship. Also saw the Mary Quant exhibition recently which is also worth a visit. I particularly loved the photos of the ladies wearing the outfit they had loaned to the V&A.

Despite going to London twice in last 10 days I didn't manage to do any clothes shopping so hoping to go tomorrow on my own therefore less likely to get sidetracked by cocktail bars and gossiping!

VivaVegas · 29/05/2019 14:29

All, not S&B but once booked I will have to sort my wardrobe so there is an indirect link! thinking of taking DC away in the summer but as this will be the first time doing that on my own I would like to go somewhere nice and avoid any disasters. And want to do something different from where we normally go to avoid thinking how sad it is that we are not there as a family.
I'm thinking an AI resort might be easier so we can just chill.
If any of you have been anywhere recently shorthall that might fit the bill please could you let me know, feel free to PM me if you'd prefer.
Thanks

kittyhello · 29/05/2019 16:44

Sent you a pm Viva

VivaVegas · 29/05/2019 23:02

So the Karen Millen trousers that Shop has arrived and are as she said very flattering so are a keeper as is the lovely ring I ordered too.
Jigsaw order due to arrive tomorrow 😂
Really need a no spend June!

shopafrolic · 30/05/2019 09:40

Glad the trousers worked for you *Viva

VivaVegas · 30/05/2019 11:57

They are a lovely fit Shop will be wearing them on Friday night!
How is DF?

shopafrolic · 30/05/2019 13:34

Does anyone know where Naomi Scott’s jacket is from? I love the ring detail around the collar.

shopafrolic · 30/05/2019 13:35

DF is ok. A couple of falls this week but no injuries thankfully. The nursing home are brilliant.

FedupNagging · 30/05/2019 21:30

So pleased you're happy with the nursing home Shop, must be a big relief for you and dm.

I'd forgotton I had a commitment this afternoon so didn't get to London but did go to a local city. Very disappointed to see several shops had shut down - FC, MV, Warehouse & Dune - there's lots of money here so surprising.

Was also disappointed that I came home with nothing more than a YSL lipstick. Must have tried eleventybillion (to coin a MN phrase) jumpsuits and culottes - usual problem, I'm a short arse and not a lot of short/petite fit on the high street.

However, have been looking online and wondered what the MNV collective thinks about animal print trousers? I love these from Mint Velvet and there's also a capri version too and even better, do a short length. Do they scream middle aged fashion victim or dead on trend?

Have also seen a couple of Bardot tops in KM in red and
animal print

Did you see them in store Shop? I rarely look in KM but actually one of my favourite winter going 'out out' tops is from there!

shopafrolic · 30/05/2019 21:40

I bought the red Fedup - didn’t see it in any other colours but it was new in that day. Has to be tucked in otherwise I look pregnant! Gorgeous cherry red though.

MarshaBradyo · 30/05/2019 21:51

I’m in half term land here and dh has been away for work so here’s a floral Dior

Not sure if it’s nice or I’m losing it

MarshaBradyo · 30/05/2019 21:53

Fedup not sure, I think they could work!

FedupNagging · 30/05/2019 22:05

Thanks Shop. There's a fine line between looking stylish or pregnant. I'm leaning towards the animal print one but concerned I may channel Bet Lynch Grin

DryWhiteagainW · 30/05/2019 22:06

I think it’s cute Marsha
Honestly Fedup I’m short and love cropped trousers but they have to be slim fit or else I look huge.

Right, so I’ve tried a new beauty treatment, derma planing.......(no bearded lady jokes please....my family have been taking the piss already).......gets rid of that peach fuz around the jaw and exfoliates. My skin looks incredible. I’ll definitely do it again.

DryWhiteagainW · 30/05/2019 22:10

Oh and I picked this jacket up yesterday....useful to throw on....

FedupNagging · 30/05/2019 22:13

Love that jacket Dry. I love a wide trouser which can carry off but I think it's the cropped bit that doesn't work-like you, need a slimmer fit.

Just heard the Boden order is on its way, wide crops/culottes so fingers xd

MarshaBradyo · 30/05/2019 22:23

I love that whole Mango look Dry
