Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

My midlife crisis has continued today, another ear piercing added to the collection. My friend had two! But she's a lot younger than me......
Considering the one I had done at Maria Tash last November still hasn't healed, this one was much easier (and a whole lot cheaper!).

So when I was in KM last weekend DH saw these trousers and said I should try them so we ordered them when we got home. Completely different style for me (buttons at the front) but my God they are so flattering. Definite keepers.
The other great buy is this dress great fit and super flattering.

Multicoloured (with red) halterneck top
Black fitted Reiss blazer
Red lip probably.
Bit chilly for a dress.
It’s a very “me” outfit.

Keeping the black Jigsaw dress as the style suits me better than the teal one. Looks good with the Zara sandals so keeping those too. Need to find somewhere to wear them now!

Blair hmm, tricky, I think it’s still important to feel good about yourself though and if clothes are part of that just go with it, everything (or most things!) can be washed or dry cleaned. How old is ds now?

I have to say I have absolutely no sympathy for TM - my roots on the NI border though mean that I consider what her approach did for the GFA is unforgivable. That said, her replacement male or female is unlikely to be any better.

Work is mad, my personal life is difficult... July trip to Ireland and prospect of the 6th July MU is keeping me going.

Blair I’m so pleased you said that I was so impressed by your white top in that pic I saw, pre-weaning! Yep we both get trashed pretty much but more from food and stuff in garden, I rotate a few jumpers I can wash it don’t care much about and ts get grubby.

I will wear cashmere jumpers but dry clean (I use an app it’s brilliant) but haven’t worn my new MaxMara cashmere as I care too much about them

Oh and avoid let miniBlair play with your glasses. One of the best things I bought this year were my new Tom Ford frames and dd snapped them full new frame required. They cost a fortune luckily I got them fixed on warranty

Sorry I haven't posted in ages usual work busy but also I think I've lost my fashion mojo. I should have bought some new summer clothes for hols but cba. In fact cba features frequently in my life at the moment. I think it's an age thing.

Sadly I can't make the MU as I'm at (my first ever!) festival. So I'll hopefully be in denim shorts and wellies in the sun drinking, although that's probably not the reality but looking forward to it.
