Vol85 was far too slow and hopefully a shiny new thread will get us all excited again.

Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

Not good shop Sad

Agree with this weather. I could really do with some sun to cheer me up. I’m out on Friday and was hoping to wear the jumpsuit but at this rate I’ll be in a dress and tights! It’s cold and wet here and I’m tempted to put the heating on.

libertyonhertravels · 12/06/2019 07:46

Oh no shop - you poor thing. I think Gigi's will be great with the jumpsuit.

I can't wait for the MU - will be amazing to see you all again.

Mara thanks for the bag recommendation - will check out.

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I'm working crazy hours and am very tired and rather uninspired fashion wise. Hoping the holiday home and time in London will reconnect me to my mojo!

DryWhiteagainW · 12/06/2019 07:46

I’m back in winter clothes and feeling grumpy

MarshaBradyo · 12/06/2019 08:02

Hmmm I know. Two more days the back to Spring
One hopes

QueenCatalina · 12/06/2019 09:07

I wanted my gloves on tne school run, my hands were so cold!

VivaVegas · 12/06/2019 11:23

Not good Shop it's horrible when you can't do the things you normally take for granted.
I agree the weather is awful, back in jeans and boots again, it feels more like October than June.
It is helping with my June shopping ban though as don't feel like buying anything, every cloud!

FedupNagging · 12/06/2019 11:52

I wore head to toe black yesterday in mourning for the sun. Still sulking today Grin

Shop dancing in heels probably not the best idea with your bad back! Your holiday wardrobe sounds totally put together and stylish.

Blair how's your gorgeous little ds? Hope he's over the worst of it now for all your sakes. You looked stunning btw in the recent photo.

Had a quick look at some sales but not a lot catching my eye. Not sure why as my wardrobe is very under stocked this summer. Think I'm in one of those 'need a change phases' and trying to marry that with what's current and what actually suits me.

Anyway, today's ootd is a double denim delight: stans, frayed crop dark denim jeans, jigsaw red breton and faded mv denim jacket. Am bloody freezing!

QueenCatalina · 12/06/2019 13:49

My hush dress arrived today which has put me in a dilemma. I love it but will we get enough summer to wear it?? I’ve already got an unworn dress and jumpsuit in the wardrobe as well as a couple of tops that have only been worn on my city break at Easter. I don’t mind the price as such but it’s a lot of it doesn’t get worn. Decisions....

DryWhiteagainW · 12/06/2019 19:22

Huge enable coming up....
QueenC I say if you really love it, you’ll regret sending it back, and you’ll one day get weather warm enough to wear it. KEEP

Dreamqueen · 12/06/2019 19:25

Shop hope you feel better soon.

Weather here is awful but I went to town today to take my Mum out. Went for lunch, cocktails in the Savoy then watched 9 to 5 the Dolly Parton musical. It was a good mood lifter. It was lovely to get out of my current routine. I wore shirt dress with navy massimo Dutti blazer and Stans.

I bought Cos shirt dress I seem to be big into the Mama Cass look at the moment (to hide my huge belly) Cos sale was a bit disappointing.

Sinusitis and full aching body are playing up at the moment. everything is a bit of an effort at the moment.

Thank you for all player recommendations, some great shows. The laptop is working overtime trying to do downloads.

DryWhiteagainW · 12/06/2019 21:50

Sinusitis is awful, poor you Dream hope you feel better soon.

Sartorial nightmare tomorrow night. Corporate do with DH, outdoor music thing, in a field, in this terrible weather......better be lots of champagne.....

VivaVegas · 13/06/2019 06:35

What a shame Dry, this time of year outdoor events should be lovely with the long light evenings but it just doesn't feel like early Summer more like autumn with pjs and a candle in in the evenings!

shopafrolic · 13/06/2019 08:12

Still rainy and hideous but I found this pretty brand for us to look at Smile

shopafrolic · 13/06/2019 17:30

Very quiet - perhaps you hated it!?

These Aldo courts have arrived absolute bargain for £35. A little higher than my Dune caged ones which I wear to death but lovely on.
Comptoir dress has arrived so I'll try later and report back.
Also these TF sunnies perfect shape, I just wish the gold bits were silver. Will wait for the other ones I ordered to arrive and then decide as these were the more £££ of the two pairs.

MarshaBradyo · 13/06/2019 17:42

I liked it! But got distracted just as I was going to post

Love your recent buys

QueenCatalina · 14/06/2019 18:08

It’s bloody monsoon season. Is it raining like this everywhere?
dry what on earth will you wear?
Nice stuff shop especially that first pink sequin skirt. Love the sunnies for you but will the gold annoy you?

I’m out tonight but not feeling at all inspired as it’s just so wet. Probably a dress and ankle boots.

VivaVegas · 14/06/2019 20:16

Yep, raining further North Queen getting fed up with wearing jeans and boots again!
Shop how is the pink dress, it's still on my maybe list.

shopafrolic · 14/06/2019 21:04

I sent those glasses back because of the gold and kept the Chloe ones instead. Which saved me about £100!
The pink dress is perfect, lovely fabric, slightly textured. Definite keeper.

Penguins1 · 14/06/2019 21:09

Wore my thin winter gloves walking the dog the other day - so cold when it's windy atm! Crazy for June, huh!!

VivaVegas · 14/06/2019 23:02

Shop how long is the dress on you?

DryWhiteagainW · 14/06/2019 23:19

My Aldo shoes, same as Shop but in nude, arrived. Not for me. I’m too short in the leg to pull of higher and thicker ankle lacing sadly. Gorgeous shoes though. I’m looking for a nude suede heel, preferably with a thin ankle strap if anyone sees some.

So what did I wear for the outdoor corporate do in the rain?
Black cropped trousers, lace shell top in cream.
Fitted red cardigan.
Red Zara coat.
Multi coloured striped umbrella.
Black Gucci disco.
And my brown leather wellie type boots (just couldn’t face loafers with no socks)
I actually felt very smart....it was a very tweedy do .....I stood out in my bright red which was fine.

DryWhiteagainW · 14/06/2019 23:22

Oh and I received these today. Trying to cut down waste and between myself and DD we worked out that in a week we each use 21 cotton wool pads to remove make up. That’s 42 a week Shock

DryWhiteagainW · 14/06/2019 23:24

I also gave up cling film as my NY resolution and am now a big fan of this stuff ....... cling film being much easier to give up than Prosecco Grin

FedupNagging · 14/06/2019 23:29

But why would you want to give up Prosecco Dry?

DryWhiteagainW · 15/06/2019 09:02
Grin
